Surprises are probably more around who stayed on the list rather than who got delisted...

E.g. Gourdis

Some pretty timely contracts expiring at the end of 2012 I would've thought...

All contracted.

We've timed it well I think. Next years draft is supposedly very deep and we will be cutting quite a few players one would imagine.

Hope Jakobi is re-rookied. I think he will be.

All depends on whether Newman is moved to the vets list or not .... I think it frees up a full list spot if he is?

Se we would have to pass on 55 to get into the PSD hope no-one slides that far. With a shallow compromised draft wouldn't be a good time to be de-listing all our rookies and having to replace them all surely one or two would have been worth persisting with.

i thought it means we can elevate an extra rookie at the start of the year and only a % of his wage is included in the salary cap.

Nason started the season as the 2nd highest goal kicker on our list from the 2010 season his first and got little opportunity this season and has now been axed ??
Edwards starts every season woefully cruises home with a couple of half average games and still hangs on ?
Based on whats been exposed at AFL level Webberly IMO hasn't shown anymore than Nason ?
How's our 2009 ND and trading looking ??

Can give rookies a 1 year contract though. If any are absolute spuds, we can get rid of them quicksmart.

Nason showed nothing to suggest that he would be a decent league footballer, Webberley just shades him IMO

I'm really disappointed in the decision to delist Contin, don't know the full story but he was exceptional for Coburg in the 2nd half of the season, thought he may be a chance to be upgraded to the senior list.

Browne is 21 and is currently a better player than Graham and has more chance of improving.

Am surprised that Graham has been retained after we got Maric only thing I can think is they will delist him prior to PSD unless there is no-one worth taking.

Browne is still very young. He dominates at Coburg and has played a couple of good games at AFL level. Definitely deserved another contract.

I think the list management has been really good. I have a feeling we will rookie list some mature guys.

I think the extra rookie only applies for every two veterans on the list so this wouldn't apply. As to my knowledge I do believe a spot on the senior list is freed up with Newman now spending 10 years at the club and on the veterans list.
