My uncle was a professional cray fisherman. Pulled a pot 12kms out off Cape Otway and there was a golf ball in it! Must have been a super powerful current down there.

3 or 4 dozen from me and my kids there....100m out into the sea. I actually have a fishing spot down there where you need to cast over 100m to get it over the reef and onto the sand (great snapper spot), that is right on my limit. Always wondered about screwing and eyelet into a ball and using it as a sinker and launching it lol.
