That's a harsh 50m against Guerra. How is he to know if the umpire is about to call play on? Had to tackle.

Too little too late. No point stepping it up in the 3rd when the game is already over and I'm not convinced it was us stepping it up anyhow, just as likely Sydney knew they had done enough and were easing up.

Suck it jetta.
I think it's because Ellis made it clear that he realised it was play on. If he just held onto the ball an acted like he believed the mark was paid, it would've been a ball up.

Most definitely, at least for this year.
You'd expect players to grab an opportunity with both hands when they've been in the reserves, but this bloke has had 2 touches.

Exact same thing happened last week. Ball up.
Can not kill a high ball at all.
Really need more one bigger KPD. How's this for a concept... Buddy to just play on Goodes and just run with and stop him, Lisle in as a forward. Maybe a thought for next game a SCG.

We really needed to be within 4 goals if we had any chance in the last quarter of pinching the win.
Underserved as it may have been, due to such a terrible first half.
Now we hear Lloyd saying that the only positive Hawthorn have is that Franklin and Roughead have been quiet, and they coud lift in the last.
Matthew, have you been watching the game? FFS, we've not looked capable of hitting a leading forward, even if we chose to play them there.
I guess it's also a positive that Bateman, Hodge, Mitchell, Birchall, Young, Osborne have all been invisible.

Free kick to Swans, they call advantage as Malceski runs off. Malceski sees Guerra coming, stops, umpire calls "no advantage" as Guerra tackles the player with the ball fairly.. And we get 50m against that is a gift goal on the SCG.

Umpires ruining football officially...I couldn't even put unto words how bad the blues essendon game was and this is worse

why do we play like that when the game is over, if we started like that we would win.........bastards are giving us a cheap thrill.
