Hardly an excuse Im saying we are better because our draw was much harder and we ended up with the same amount of wins
I don't think anybody gives a **** what you say, however wrongly.

Lots of pre-emptive excuses from Hawks ITT.
There's some ****ing beauties ATM.

"You're a bought team"

"We're rebuilding"

"If you didn't have Danger or Selwood"

lol, it's palpable... :)

It wasn't much harder. 3 of your allocated return teams Freo Tigers and Norf fell off the place so it became a lot easier than it looked on paper. All means jackshit now anyway.

Gee there is some handbagger bullshit being talked recently. The Mighty Fighting Hawks just ticked off a home final and a double chance, it was all 'Lucky if you make the 8' a few short months ago.
Not only are we in this finals series up to our eyeballs (soon to be just up to our balls) but we have ensured that we remain a destination club for some added class to join our already exciting youf.
We aint going ANYWHERE!
p.s Whats better than beating Collingwood by 100 points?
Beating them by one :)

Hawks had the hardest draw Cats had the easiest both on the same amount of wins
That's somewhat offset by Hawthorn having the best coach & Geelong one of the worst.

Hawthorn v top 4: 1-3
V top 7 (norf doesn't count): 4-4

In fact that only game I can give Hawthorn credit for the win was against the Swans and it was by a paltry 5 points. Since the you've gone 3-2 including humiliating losses against West Coast and Melbourne (LOOOOL)

Geelong vs top 4: 2-2
Geelong vs top 7: 7-2

The records don't lie, it's going to be very tough for the old blokes at Dingley to get within 10 goals of the champion cats team

Hawks have played 15-25 mins of football at high intensity all year in each game ... It's mostly won us every time.

Even today they didn't add intensity until mid way through the third quarter.

When finals come and we play high intensity football for a full game then people will once again be reminded about why you never write off this team.

I do laugh at you thinking the Hawks playing shit is all some grand masterplan.

And you wonder why they've threepeated, it's nice playing at your home ground regardless of where you finish

We had to win at Subi last year to win the flag.

We had to beat the unstoppable Syds late in 2014 to make top 4 at their home ground.

There is no easy Grand Finals, bar the one in a million 2007 year.

make that 3 in a million - 2009 (against the new Colliwobbles) and 2011 (against a team who had played their GF the previous week)
