I really want to see Schroder get a game next year, what were the reasons behind him not getting a go last year?

From what i saw he's hard at the ball, and had some good games in the VFL. Is the fitness/tank just not there yet for AFL? Would be a great max rooke replacement imo.

We have a very strong side He's done pretty well for a first year player.

From what I saw he's a good prospect, good mark, good tackler, skills better than I thought, he just needs to build a bigger endurance base but that will come. Might play a few games next year but no need to rush him.

Yeah I assumed his endurance might not quite be there yet, just because he's carrying more weight than the other guys his age being 182/85 in his first year.

Don't see much of a problem with 85kg if you're 6'1", coze I'm sure he's grown a couple of cms.
Just wish some of the others had muscle on their bones like him, the reason he might make the stepup next season.
We should get a good look in the NAB Cup, both him and Guthrie, I'd reckon this second pre-season will develop these two for senior footy.

reminds of another name I liked that I thought would be a player in Marcus Baldwin, but he didn't quite do anything after his impressive debut against Melbourne

Next year is going to be even more exciting. Ruck depth is a potential issue. Should have kept Blake as backup. Likewise KPD. Go Tom Gillies!

I'd love to see Byrnes and Hogan have good years.

Varcoe should be primed after a hopefully uninterrupted preseason.

And anything from Smedts and Brown is a bonus.

Hear what you say! Now you have got me worried, hopefully soft tissue soreness that just needed a spell, but that groin issue may require management.

I see JS playing a Chappy role in time.

He had problems in 2009 with hammys too.

He had a slight problem with his hammy in the 09 grand final.

So you think he had a great year this year? More surgery this off season again.

It's 2-3 years later from his 09 heroics. I bloody hope he can get back to his best, im just saying the end might hit him quicker because of his injuries.

By the way, just check the club stats, can you believe the little b*&#@r was second highest in disposals for season 2011, he's unreal, Kelly was first, Jimmy was third.
So 2011 form was in reality super!!! Just gotta keep him going.
