Hey Mods, can we quarantine all the Negative Nancy Debbie Downer "supporters" to this one thread for the entire finals series.

Easy for a Geelong fan to say. There's no way on earth Geelong won't win the flag this year

This thread is quite a morbid read.

There are some sad sacks, but I've actually found it quite fascinating. A change from the usual mindless chest-thumping. Good topic RUNVS.

Because we left too many points on the table and should have finished top 4 and we'd be right as one of the favourites, but we didn't.

Now our potential run looks like potentially being:

Brisbane (Gabba) > Sydney (SCG) > Geelong (MCG) > Melbourne (MCG).

That's a brutal run, especially against Geelong who would have had the week off after we'd travelled consecutively.

We aren't making that run of wins. Only have ourselves to blame with coughing up games and leads we should have won several times.

1 player doesn't make a team but feel we will really miss Grimes.
Always said winning a GF is timing mixed with a bit of luck including injuries.

That said we've timed our run and no reason why we cant do it again, we will give it one hell of a shake and I reckon we scare Geelong!

Because many Dogs players are out of form this year along with a game plan which has been worked out by better sides and personale in the backline is poor.

Our finals record in the last decade is 6-10, including some pretty terrible losses where we're barely showed up to play (2014 GF, 15 SF, 17 SF, 18 EF).
