Thought he properly had enough games. Did a few good things, especially the run down tackles. He needs to build up his upper body strength for mine.Too many players able to break his tackles (when they saw him). Needs to be able to help hold the ball in more. His pace is something we don’t have a lot of so worth persisting with.

Yeah the pace is a point of difference if like to see in our mix consistently. The other issues are solvable problems to check back in on after another preseason

If we lose Parfitt then we've got a serious problem, both in the sense of culture (we want essential players to want to stay) and of football: he was fantastic on Sunday when the game wasn't going our way, when others with much bigger reputations weren't doing anything like the level of work off the ball.

None of those options are correct. McCarthy was fit and healthy and playing before he chose to go to Brisbane. He also got to play with his best mate.

I personally would give up just a second rounder, he’s at the age and they’re at the point where players like him will be let go for unders.
There’s no fridge player that would really suit them, Constable there makes zero sense as they have inside mids by the boat load.

I think given his quality, a second round pick, which will be a pick in the 40s would be fair. He's old but he's a very good player. He is under contract so North hold the cards here.

I actually get the feeling from Higgins he doesn’t want to play in Geelongs bubble town. Met him out once in Geelong one night, said hi and wasn’t very pleasant about being noticed down there
