Whilst this would be good news for Chook, I'm 50-50 on whether he's personally the admin of this page

Hasn't it been around this time for the past couple of seasons that there's started to be murmurings of opposition clubs interested in Constable, but then come the trade period the interest suddenly seems to go cold

I know that the football media talk a lot of BS especially around potential trades, opposition interest etc, but I can't recall one article from the past couple of trade periods that linked genuine interest between an opposition team & Constable

Things may change this coming trade period and good luck to him if they do

The comp is defined as Band1, Band2 etc.... Band1 is R1 after the natural R1. Band2 is End of R1.

The calculation is worked out mainly on dollars with a little bit of age added to the calculation. For Band1 The offer needs to land in the top 5% of FA aged players in the AFL. If it falls short it would be Band2 between 5% and 15% for Band2

Assuming the player gets a GodFather offer ....

Band 1 We win the flags.. there is no difference between Band1 and Band2. P20 at best. If we fail at a PF stage it might be P17 .

Band 2 would be in the 20's this year with Daicos and Darcy to go R1.

If that was what got the deal done, my guess is GC would trade a R2 for him. The have a P4 and P19 already this year. An upgrade is more than plausible.

QLD has more than one side .... Brisbane would offer a competitive side to play in . Probably more appealing than GC

I mean WCE have been trialling Duggan as a mid in bursts this year and i think its a position that he could excel in if he played there more.

In terms of our defence youd expect hendo and tuohy go in the next 1-2 years and then bews has another 3-4 in him. Obviously blitz is 30 and stewart isnt far off but hopefully they are good enough to play on til their mid 30s. Hopefully we can start to transition some good young defenders in as retirements occur.

Extra mids are always good, haven't been keeping tabs on him recently.

I just think defence is basically the youngest part of our best 22 so probably need the fewest players added.

Because Meek is a lot younger. I think Fort deserves more games but one of the issues is he is already 28 so even if he comes through this year hes only a medium term option not a long term one. Someone like Meek is close to a 10 year ruck age wise if you get the talent ID right.

I guess where I'm going with this is that we have 2 development rucks already and if you get the talent ID wrong you clog up a large part of the list. How many spots are we locking out for how long? If they need years of development then we're locking out what 8% of our list spots for how long?
