The comp is defined as Band1, Band2 etc.... Band1 is R1 after the natural R1. Band2 is End of R1.

The calculation is worked out mainly on dollars with a little bit of age added to the calculation. For Band1 The offer needs to land in the top 5% of FA aged players in the AFL. If it falls short it would be Band2 between 5% and 15% for Band2

Assuming the player gets a GodFather offer ....

Band 1 We win the flags.. there is no difference between Band1 and Band2. P20 at best. If we fail at a PF stage it might be P17 .

Band 2 would be in the 20's this year with Daicos and Darcy to go R1.

Good news really that Parish is only signed on for two more seasons at EFC. Leaves him a free agent at the end of 2023 which may be a good time for us to consider replenishing our midfield if we can lure him.

Essendon would've definitely thrown a lengthier contract at Parish so it's good he settled for only 2. He probably isn't completely sold on the future of the Bombers yet, so hopefully they continue to be an awful team which would make putting on the hoops so much easier.

Schlensog has come one in a big way as the premier WAFL defender. I would be happy to have him back on the list and right now would be ahead of SDK and Krueger as an AFL ready defender. Shocked at how much he has improved. Still only 20. While I was disappointed that Geelong delisted him, I don't think anyone knew he could be this good.

Tyrone Thorne is another one I would look at. Was a very good small forward at u18 level and is quick and very very slippery. Concerns about his height have been squashed as he has transferred his style of play straight into the WAFL seniors with no issues. Would have him in our team right now ahead of dahlhaus. Well worth a rookie draft pick.

This poster wcadams88 has hand player based rumours before and has been very accurate over the time.

Whilst not suggesting this is correct or will play out this way - there is a good track record here on accuracy.

Are you sure thats correct? DFA when a player has been delisted ... for how long? Would Lang be a delisted FA on our VFL list?

To bring him back in , someone would have to put their hand up and say they got it wrong... would we do that?
