Curnow will near singlehandedly win us matches next year.
...
To top it, Jezza will be joining the ranks hitting the sweet spot in CC's palms..Good luck to any backline covering our fwd line if Curnow joins it.
he had a bunch of horrendous kicks delivering it to him at Carlton and still won two Coleman medals
Danger will play the role of a bowling ball, knocking over opposition pins all over the ground. He's probably enjoyed it since he was a kid. A Natural. What happens with Danger?

If curnow comes neale will become a 50 % ruck at least (assuming no marshall you could have neale and sdk job share it somewhat) until Cameron winds down.
Maybe SNeale's evinced interest to ruck while still young, before "retiring" to the forward line. Maybe Jezza is more potent for us roaming all over the ground, whilst still finding the sticks. Maybe the prototypical rucks CS seeks, are right under our noses (SNeale and/or SDK). Maybe tenderfoots getting experience rucking is fraught with injuries whereas, importing footy-hardened
forwards/defenders into rucking is not (like using simulators to train novice pilots rather than in-situ).
Our Clarion call across the AFL..We know that Curnow wants to come, and we like to facilitate those deals. This is us saying we are serious about getting you. We are not leaving you out in the cold
Yeah, but we're used to Thomas the Tank Engine scrambling across the bridge as the rails disintegrated behind itCan't imagine I was the first to use that metaphor, trains have been around for quite a while

It dependsThree first round picks for Curnow is easily the stupidest trade offer ever done.
This will not go well.
It depends
Do you think we will contend for the next 3 years?
If yes
It’s likely pick 19 “will get pushed back more with bids”
Pick 14-18
Pick 14-18
That’s a pretty good deal IMO
If you think we slide and it’s pick
19, inside 10 and inside 10
Yeah that’s not great
Danger will be gone yes but not sure Cameron will be and also if Cameron goes we would then have Curnow.is not at all surpising we slide with the upcoming retirements of guys like danger and cameron.
if they go ahead with this deal, this just maybe the point where it finally goes pear shape for the club after defying gravity for 20 years.
I said a week or so ago that people thought this was easier said than done.
It’s always going to be a deal down to the wire and wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he doesn’t come
CGuthrie was a Carlton supporter (remember the Judd jumper swap). We seem to think he'll come good (hasn't been delisted). Maybe Carlton will bite?I dont think we will get curnow because one of our A grade players would have to want to go for Carlton to think its an offer they want. But it sends the right message.

I wanted toBe like a giant fireball rolling out of the centre square, has no beginning or end!!! ☄
but had one look at myself in the mirror and decided "Discretion is the better part of valor" (William Shakespeare)And yet all the nuffies I know that throw up cotton on/farm conspiracy crap are right wing cookers like yourself. Honestly stop bringing your boomer political views into this board all the time. It's embarrassing. We live in a society (wspecially those politically leaning left and younger people) who like to frame society as success is due to opression or corruption.. Not hard work.
Hard work and competence is never accepted anymore as a reason for success. It doesnt exist and is an excuse or cop out.
This leads to anger resentment victimhood etc etc which we even see amongst supporters in the AFL.
Example- geelong have inequities giving them an advantage... Geelong have an unfair stadium advantage... Geelong have a trading and player aquisition advantage... Geelong cheat with hocking bla bla ( more bitter stuff) but its always back to that same logic.. That success is inequality based, not competency based
