Nite to all those going to bed....thanks for all the great work by the Battlers staff and players. I'm still plugging along thru the replays, but will crash very soon too.

More celebratory posting in the morning! And I'll have those jerseys all done tomorrow.
Also, Manning did ok, still I might lobby for Roberts to have another start, I'd like to re-see his game before the playoffs.

Awesome Qb with good recievers. Very good Linebackers as well.

Their D-line looks shit house and they have 1 outstanding corner with 1 beyond shithouse one.

I notice as i watch more that our DBs all have terrible hands, there are so many deflections that should've been INTs.

Also I got a PM from Fallop asking for a trade due to no playing time and how can he improve. I kinda agree in that this next game we can inject more back-ups into the game to boost their levels up, and also, we learnt this game that levels themselves dont always make good players. So we could have big playmakers on the bench. Also because we need our back-ups to keep up with the development of our starters and so should by default basically switch every week and back again to keep everyone developing.

Great win, a shutout at this point really sends out warning bells around the comp, and also a few more goals in as well!

What I'm a bit confused is the fact the Momo has both positions for the next game...what's going on?

Geez.. nice way to start off for Ed Wells, made him as a last minute thing and ripped it apart. Leroy didnt play too well, Wells more then makes up for him though ;)

I did a wholesale change of the depth chart to give people a chance, find out what other undiscovered guns we have on the team, give players XP points to level them up etc.


Also....Sleepy.....I got a PM from Bort saying there is a way I can buy Flex Points for you. So just awaiting further instructions. Also received a weird PM from some person, which I posted about on the Battlers forum.

The defence lays the golden egg!

Great game guys - I think we ended up with just about the perfect game plan - even if you were trying to change the tactics at the last minute gg!

The defence did a great job with the Reid boys the standouts - 3 hurries and a sack for Connor and 5 hurries for Thomas. We kept them to 212 yards, 61.5 on the ground and 150.5 passing. Our offence actually outgained their offence 2:1! ( 434.5 yards to 212 yards)

I'm pretty sure I said it yesterday, but containment in the first half and then run over them in the second, score at half time 3-0, final score 27-0.

All I can see is a similar game plan for the Penetrators - its another side with lots of CPU players.

Also - everyone on the defence has done a great job at levelling up their players, not a single level 2 or level 1 player on the defence. We also have out first level 8 player. Congrats Chris Taylor!

Ok gg, now some time for thinking about player finances for next season.

Its already been noted that equipment for level 8 players costs $2500 per item, therefore you need at least $10000 just for level 8 gear. It give +2 to attributes rather than +1 for level 1 gear.

I think you should give every player at least a $10000 bonus at the end of the season for all the sacrifices - no signing bonus, level 1 pay that we have all made this season.

As far as salaries are concerned, it looks like intense training is not possible during the season due to energy level concerns, therefore something in the range of $1000 to $2000 depending on level would be a good starting point.

Cash is looking good as well from the finance teams perspective.

Brothers Reid causing a fair bit of havoc, even though the blitz percentage was down for this game. The whole D playing some awesome stuff.

Ed Wells! (mixed marriage of Daniel Wells and Ed Sansbury??). What a debut game. GUN like. Keep it up son.

Like the uniforms and helmet.

Overall, a good nights blitzing!! :thumbsu:

What do you think? This is the best way also to get a zoom in on the player's name by cutting off the sleeves. I also added in the yellow shoulder design.

I was about to give props to those WR's for the blocking, that shit was tight! I cant believe Larson didnt bust outside for a few more yards though, maybe thats the vision thing... have to work that I think
