No upgrade to custom equipment, I've checked. I have upgraded two out of four available equipments at level 16 but ran low on funds then, will just sit tight and wait until I can upgrade again.

Confident over the Islanders? Overrated, should not have made the Eastern Conference Final last year, but got an easy run into the Final... Then got smashed...

Have done quite a few contracts etc when I see players nearing level 8 (MIL's), but same will now need to be done for level 16 Battlers.

I have mentioned it before, but anyone who cannot afford equipment needs to let us know and we will provide the funds.

Bartley's getting there. Its still the main season and playoffs are 6 games away - keep training vision and you'll be right...

How about our drive from our own 2 yard line (in the 4th I think).:thumbsu:

Bartley, WTF. At least he made his extras this time. I reckon they have made a change to kickers, as he used to be automatic. And we kicked a FG when on the 2 yard line with 23 seconds to go. :confused:

I noticed the three FG attempts made by both teams when running UP towards the top of the screen all missed! Us two, them one. Is there something like weather in this game?

Also, that whole drive in the 4th from our 2 yard line was majestic smash mouth football. I got a hard-on watching that. Booya! Forever to be known as "The Drive".

Also, I experimented with Manning's energy. I did 55-out, 70-in....off memory. I notice he's on 84 energy after the game. Maybe there's room to go further to ensure he takes more snaps when we play against top opposition.

I also have been leaving Bird and Serling out altogether from the depth chart at HB and it's been working....ie, all our carries taken by level 15 players and not having level 5's out there. We have one more tough game next, but at some point I'm gonna have to use Bird and Serling more to get their XP up.

My CB and DT leveled up 15 and 14 and really need a pay increase to cover training costs

OT Lars Thorvaldsson took an absolute pounding in his final game for VY's Austin Alcoholics last night. He was on the field for every offensive down and ended up on 72 energy after 80 snaps. The Alcoholics won the game 22-19 so it looks like the strategy payed off for the owner.

I've got him on no training for today and therefore he'll come over to the MILs on 90 energy for tonights game.

I can make contract offers for the MILs so I'll make sure he's on the team as soon as possible.

As I said yesterday, the aim will be to have him at 100% for the Aggressors game in 3 days, so we'll have to carefully manage him through tonights game.

Mind you he's only 297 points off level 15, and it'd be nice to make that for the Aggressors game as well - we'll have to see how that pans out.
