there is one interesting possible scenario: if results go by ladder position:

ie if Bulldogs lose to Geelong & Collingwood (& Brisbane d Port & Sydney)

this scenario would set up the big scenario of round 22 where the winner of Adelaide v Carlton will finish 4th but the loser will finish 7th and play the "hardest" option of elimination final against the Bulldogs! 6th

whereas the 8th side Essendon/Port/Hawthorn get to play the "easier" option of Brisbane 5th.

I'd much rather play the Bulldogs in Melbourne than Brisbane at the Gabba. We have a horrible record at the Gabba.

On a side note - do St Kilda and Essendon have some sort of agreement where they are obliged to fall over when they play each other if it will be beneficial for either side to better their ladder position?

Lol I messaged a port mate (who thought the round 22 debacle last year was a great joke) on sunday night, saying something along the lines of "doesn't it suck getting screwed by saints bombers at the dome"

I think that given the Western Bulldogs have been fairly average over the last 3 weeks - and they come up against Geelong (who are decimated) and a red hot Collingwood I think it will set up a play off for 4th at Etihad - round 22.

We have the bye this week, and you guys should do away with West Coast.

This will be exciting !
