Hoops, Walks and Fev have a greyhound racing tonight at Warragul in Race 1. It's called 'Stone Cold Steve'

It also happens to racing against Lance Whitnall's dog 'Big Ollie'

Stone Cold Steve was at MC Labour Park yesterday after training for some pics with Fev, Tex and Hoops.

I had a few words with the guy who had brought him there and can confirm that he is in fact racing tonight and Lance's dog is in the same race.

Is there much money in greyhound racing? I mean as an owner

I'm greyhound trainer...the owner has to make try and get some where near even with his/her investment...
Most races in Australia are bringing around $1000 per win minimum...and depending of the deal the owner has with the trainer they would be leaving with $500 max out of a $1000 win..
There are some good country cups if you can grab a dog good enough, these races bring $25k plus..
And then we go up to the big boys, the golden easter egg, the Australian cup etc, for the elite greyhounds...big money to be made..

I myself usually train for: I keep the first $100 out of any prize money and split the rest 50/50 with the owner..
Thats the fairest deal as I don't charge weekly training fee's so all the costs of feeding,vet bills, travel and trials etc all come out of my pocket..

I'm pumped that a few of our boys are in to the doggies!!!
Sounds like they had as much luck as me yesterday, I only managed a 5th :, but he won the week before and like the saying goes "you can win em all" although It would be nice.

I cant wait for this weekend and like every carlton supporter I'm getting toey to see Juddy fly the colours for us.

I havent been this excited about the footy in years...Im like a kid at Christmas ...
