I never said the hawks were the most supported team in tasmania.

You go over my posts and find where I said the hawks that & I will admit I was wrong.

What you have done is you inferred that from my posts. You thought because I don't come from tasmania you would get stuck into me for having an opinion which may or may not be correct. Do you have an inferiority complex or something? Have you been waiting for an opportunity to get me beacause I am not totally happy about the tasmanian deal?

What I posted was:

blues definately seemed to have the crowd - very dissappointing given we have given up a lot to play in tasmania

I was merely commenting that I found it surprising the level of support for the blues in tasmania tonight when we have committed so much to play there..

But we have been playing there for a number of years now and have just made a 5 year commitment to tasmania. We have also had a strong connection with tasmania over a number of years having players like the hudsons & pritchard in our team.

As a result it is generally considered the Hawks get good support in tasmania. - this is one of the reasons why we got the sponsorship agreement with Tasmanian Government.

That does not mean I thought we are the most supported team in tasmania!

Why would I say that when I simply don't know - I said we get good support, thats all.

I also notice you have convieniently not chosen to respond to any of the points I make in post #75 which responds fully to all the points you make in post 69.

BTW I am still waiting to see this census/survey you quote from about tasmanias afl support.

Yes it may be growing but it sounds to me if you were honest you would admit that you believe without the deal membership would most likely be higher than what it will be with it.

Remember, you actually gave me credit for the economic analysis I conducted to back up my opinion on this (I'll get your quote if you want it).

And as far as your last comment goes my only problem is I only quote what people quote - and I don't infer or make up things unlike some other posters on this forum to suit my point.

Oh thats the reason - you call it personal insults now, but the fact is I responded to each of the points in your post in a civil manner - I thought the reason you didn't respond was because you had no response!

Anyway, anybody can have a look at the thread & they can make their own judgement just like they can do with the rubbish xyakks has posted on this thread - and that is the beauty of forums, all posts are there for anybody to read & then make there own judgement.
