I think the majority of us would like to see us play the Dogs on the 26th. :thumbsu:
 
There was a boy on the footy show last night. The last 4 years has picked who would play in the Grand Final and the last 4 years got it right. Also he has picked the margin with in a 10 point radius the last 4 years to quite amazing. He says he has a dream about it and his last dream was St Kilda vs W Bulldogs 2009 Grand Final :eek:. I wonder.......................:)

By far (if that concept exists anyway) my second favourite team.

I would really love the see that Saints / Bulldogs GF.

(Robert Harvey and Chris Grant would be so proud...)
 
I hope its a bullies sainsts GF, what a great story for AFL. 98 YEARS OF PREMIERSHIP DROUGHT between the two teams.
 
I'll only start mildly liking the doggies if we win a premiership before them. And im sure a few dogs supporters think the same way.

Don't understand the excessive fondness between the 2 supporter bases. Rival number 1 imo.

Mutual respect for long suffering supporters bring camaraderie with it as well as the rivalry that comes with breaking the drought, plus, less tools like the individual above.

Not sure I've been around long enough to feel the camraderie. Nor have I really long suffered. So I guess there's my answer. :p
 
For some reason there seems to be more of a camaraderie between Bulldogs and Kangaroos supporters.

I don't know why that's the case but the one thing I am grateful for is that in recent seasons we've kind of lost our tag of being everybody's second team.

I've always lived in the western suburbs and with Mum being a lifelong Footscray supporter I probably saw them play as often as we did until I was about 12. So from that perspective I'd love to see them have some success but with so many family and friends supporting them it is absolutely imperative that we win that elusive flag before they do. ;)

No fondness here Benchy. I have had some shocking run ins with Dogs fans at the footy.

Good Luck Saints I hope you smash the filth today and win your prelim.
But I don't think you can play the doggies in the gf now only in the prelim,Just go out there today and play your best if you do that you'll win.You need rooey and Kosi to stand up and be stars and your midfield to be aggressive and hard.
 
The only way to meet the Doggies in the GF now is to deliberately lose to the toothless filth, then smash Adelaide and Geelong, while you take care of Bisbane and walk over the toothless again...

I doubt there is sufficient motivation in the world to ever deliberately roll over to the filth. We take it as our moral imperative to do our part in ridding the competiton of these dentally challenged upstarts.

Well done St's on todays win against a team that always seems to sit down when they need to stand right up.

i'll be batting for ya's come GF day, co's the pies certainly won't be there.

Unfortunately we can no longer play off in the grand final, but much congratulations on belting collingscum. My late father barracked for the Saints and ironically hated collingwood as much. I can hopefully look forward to the Prelim final now.
