I am not losing any faith in Dees. Still a very strong team. Just a bit off tonight.

I've never had any faith in them. They've over-achieved this year so far and we've just started their downward progress. I did get a little puzzled by all the commentator references to them as premiership favourites.

In the scheme of things we did an unfortunate number on Seed. In terms of where we were/where we thought we were when he came in he was the perfect cream on the cake.

Not his fault the foundations were built on sand

They will be up there. They have all the key areas covered. Next week huge for them now.

I think it’s good non call. I hate when those are called deliberate.
Have a look at the following post, which shows clearly that a Dees' player deflected the ball oob. Umpire in perfect poz to see it, too.
All of the Dees supporters whingeing about the non-free kick can sprinkle their salt over all the big brown ones they can feast on.

Fox actually showed an angle where the Melbourne dude is knocking the ball. I don't know how to do GIFS but in motion you can see the ball sharply change direction.

Umpire has a clear view of it.

Brad Johnson was having a cry over the top about how the whole footy world knows it was a bad call. Smiling Assassin? Pfft more like THE FROWNING ASSASSIN

Let's face it - it was blatantly deliberate.

However, don't get angry at the Vic media for blaming the umpires for the Dees losing. That's what makes it even funnier. We've been shafted numerous times in key matches by borderline cheating, so just sit back and enjoy it.

They lot those Keays type one's go all the time across every game every week. Umps generally don't care if a guy handballs it or not as long as the ball keeps moving. Certainly not one to pick out in isolation as being egregiously worse than any other non-call.
I was trying to work out what people were referring too as such an outrageous non HtB decision... ah, have they watched footy over the last 3 years?

Exactly. We did have a player very close tho
If not for that hmmm. Ball just went slowly enogh.

Smith doesn't do a knee in the PF

He may well be a premiership player

It’s nice to know we’ve contributed again to stuffing up a VIC dream match. 1997 Bulldogs vs Saints in GF and 2021 Bulldogs vs “Unbeaten” Dees

How'd you do that?
I mean, kudos, but I didn't think they had a snowflake's chance in Hell.
With 7 minutes to play, I was expecting a 5-6 goal blowout.
Am still delightfully, wonderfully stunned. :D

Well I had us in two multi bets - one with us at the line and the other for the win. Other games in the multi - Brisbane, Geelong, Bulldogs and Essendon. Expecting Essendon to screw me over.

I don't remember anyone in the Vic footy media complaining when we got screwed out of the Hawks game.
Happy for the media to point out all the poor umpiring decisions in our game... & tally up how many goals they cost both sides.
