yes,a big tip of the hat to the cats..massive comeback..really nearly stole the show..to completely reverse the 2nd half re entries and scoring shots was an awesome effort...and scary!

re swift v. gaff..or gaff v. anybody..i imagine gaff is being kidgloved+cottonwoolled a little this year...needs to beef up..dont want him injured unduly yet..easing him towards another preseason and 2012..when he will come into the side with a club-supplied tube of superglue i bet!!
the endless swift and masten trade debates roll on here...(at least killing off the priddis debates for awhile)

bruces comments were getting a little homo-exotic i thought..nearly got himself into a tight corner..but i dont mind 'gushing bruce'..the bruce, dennis +leigh show is hard to beat for quality commentating..i find the commentating can really spoil an otherwise good game of footy,depending on who's rabbiting on in the background!?

anyway the cats supporters certainly seem gracious and sporting in defeat!!

This drove me crazy. Whats 'exotic' about the way he plays? He doesn't do anything new.

The only thing he's referring to when he says exotic is his skin colour, which is ****in totally and completely irrelevant. Next time a commentator calls NicNat exotic i'm calling it racism.

To the OP, it's all going so quicky. We won the spoon last year, FFS. I would have been happy with 10th and some tangible improvement. I'm just enjoying each and every win.

great win guys! watched the whole game. Won without a MASSIVE performance from Kennedy or Lecras which was even more impressive.

Didnt want to start a new thread but wanted to get your thoughts on Tom Swift? Is it just me or is this guy a horrible horrible footballer? I have a mate over in WA who supports WC and says Gaff has been playing well in the 2nds. How is this Swift in the team over him?
Or was this just a bad game from him?
Would love to know from WC supports what your thoughts are on him.

not sure how he keeps getting a game at this stage,dont think he will be in there come finals time.Could be to boost trade value or just plain see if he can make it at AFL level.

we wont really start dreaming until geelong knocks collingwood out for us - if that happens we might start to get a bit excited - but theres still a little thing called the mcg and our lack of experience there and the fact that it doesnt really suit our press to worry about.
