Not an auspicious finish to such a magnificent career, but it has been a wonderful journey that Robert Harvey has had with the Saints.

I will miss his presence and I'm sure the club will miss his wisdom, knowledge and leadership.

But Harvey addressed the entire playing group along with club officials. Looked like the emotion got the better of him in the end.

Superstar. Champion, what words can you use to describe such a great man. Played AFL longer then I've been alive, testament to the bloke for making it for 21 seasons in the AFL.

Sad to see him bow out, even in the emotion of realising we just made a grand final, had the lump in the throat and tears welling seeing the great man leave the MCG for the last time ever.
