Adelaide midfielder Simon Goodwin could miss the next four matches with an adductor strain.
He was hurt in the second quarter of Sunday’s match against Fremantle at Subiaco Oval and later was on crutches, as he was again on Monday morning when the Crows had their recovery session at an aquatic centre in Perth before their lunch-time departure for Adelaide.
Goodwin will be examined on Tuesday to determine the full extent of his injury.
Adelaide communications co-ordinator Matthew Robran said early estimates were that Goodwin would miss two to four matches.
The Crows’ only other casualties from the nine-point loss to the Dockers were James Begley, who developed severe cramping in the last quarter, and Kris Massie, who had a few stitches inserted in a cut chin.
Robran said Begley and Massie would be available for Adelaide’s clash with St Kilda at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night, but Ben Hart was expected to miss his third successive match with a back injury.
Adelaide ruckman Rhett Biglands will face the AFL Tribunal this week on a charge of striking Fremantle’s Graham Polak in the last quarter on Sunday.
Michael Doughty (South Adelaide), Matthew Bode (Glenelg) and Luke Jericho (West Adelaide) were the pick of the Crows in the SANFL last Saturday.

That's not good news for either Goody or Benny
