Apparently, his original club in Bendigo, Golden Square, is under threat of going under, so Diesel is prepared to sponsor the club he played for before crossing to Geelong, for nothing with his business (Diesel Internet Company I think)and he is willing to play for GS next year, in a bid to get more people to their games. Now isn't this what grassroot football needs ? Not more namby pampy girls like matthew Lloyd posing for porno shoots at local country clubs, but AN AFL LEGEND, Yes LEGEND, willing to do whatever he can to save his junior club from going under. I salute you Diesel, a champion on and off the field.

Since Carlton skipped the cap to pay this guy so much, you'd figure he'd have a few spare quid to doll out, so good on 'im. He can also teach them how to use the cash on Supreme Court legal bids to avoid suspensions.

Why don't you go and barrack for Carlton. It's obvious that you use Carlton as a "shield", from which you fire abuse at Essendon. You know it is harder for Essendon to "have a go" at Carlton, than it is for us to "have a go" at Geelong, becuse Geelong have been so shit and embarassing for so long now.

So, why don't you just cut the charade and barrack for the Blues . We know you love them more than your own club, so just barrack for them.

Admit it. You like them better than Geelong. It's so obvious to see.

Go on, admit it. You know deep down, its true. If you deny it in yor next post, it just confirms that you love Carlton more than Geelong. It's true.

Hey Dan24, since when has anyone associated with Essendon done anything good for charity or society ? In otherwords never. Did you now that Gary Ablett when he still playing made frequent trips to sick kids in hospital without getting or wanting any publicity ? Surely it wouldn't hurt a selfish, self-centered moron like James Hird to take away five minutes of screwing his dog to devote some time for the greater good ?

Alot of high profile players do charity work. However they do not make their efforts public. It is unfair to judge any player without knowing all of the facts. To make such comments about James Hird r any other player is totally unfair.
 
May I remind you Richmondfan#1 that Wayne Campbell is not a legend or indeed a champion but a gutless, money grabbing, selfish arseh*le, and i know for a fact that half the Richmond players hate his guts. Greg Williams would be insulted if he knew he was being compared with Wayne Campbell

to be made of the whole day, and this was presented to Mum and Dad soon after. Sadly a few weeks later, the little fella lost his
battle, and one of the four pallbearers at the funeral was W. Campbell. This all occurred right in the middle of his problems and walkout with the club. He still maintains contact with the family to this day, and it all started because he heard of a young Tiger doing it tough."

So there you go G4E, that's a real example of someone who genuinely cares about others. That's who I refer to as a real hero. The above post by CJH, gives an example of someone who deserves respect. All Greg Williams has done is play for a club with financial difficulties for personal gain (sponsorship) ..... a lot of f*ckin good that does for those who truly need someone to inspire them at times of need. He is not a f*ckin hero.
