I thought Astbury would be played near the forward line.
Agreed, Dimma would have seen McG & Thursty struggle up forward today and at least one of them won't be part of his plans next year.You'd hope that after today with the failed efforts of McGuane and Thursfield up forward that this will force Dimma's hand. I think he prob wanted to see what versatility they had in them to evaluate our tall backs going forward.
My money is on McGuane to be traded - has bit more currency I think. Most think he'd go to GC but strikes me as some chance to go to Dons who are very light ion for KPDsAgreed, Dimma would have seen McG & Thursty struggle up forward today and at least one of them won't be part of his plans next year.
