Hate it was probably a bit strong, allow me to rephrase.

The use of lub makes me think that the user has suffered some sort of trauma that has reduced their capacity to speak correctly.

Similar to how I feel about teenagers when they use words like 'totes'.

Mate, if I had done that I would have been doing it every ten minutes. A Dad with an 12-24 month in nappies with a Pram gets you all sort of looks and comments.

The big 'c' word...cancer...astounded at the celebs in their 60's dying the past week from cancer, and fwiw, probably in real life. I know of one person in their 50's here that passed away last week from it.

a mate of mine's parents being the good catholics that they were, had a baby some 20 years after the last sibling

anyway his old man got the police called on him because some good citizen saw an older gent leading a 2 year old girl by the hand to the public loo not realising it was his daughter and he was just changing her nappy !

he laughs about it now.. not so happy at the time !

Have you seen either of the Anchorman movies?

News is not news it is current event entertainment. When there is nothing they create something from mundane to engate viewers inorder to get ratings sp that they get better sponsors because it is really all about coin.

I haven't watched a mainstream media news broadcast in more than 5 years. I'd reccommend that to everyone.

As a youngster it was hot...damn hot.

If I wanted humidity heat I would move to Ispwich.

One of my closest mates from high school died of cancer - he was only 22 years old. In the very early nineties. Within a couple of years the survival rate increased alot. Dumb luck, well lack of it. 22. That's more than half my life ago. I often wonder if I made/make the most of the years he never had... Glenn Frey died of other causes tho. Complications from pneumonia and arthritis apparently. I never knew arthritis was fatal.

Famous and semi famous musos from the 60s and 70s (and later ) will start dropping like flies tho from now on. About three of four people from early 70s bands died the day Frey did, he was just from a massive one. Bands with names i have barely or never heard of like (the drummer from) Mott the Hoople.

Anyway before it gets too morbid - my wife's pregnant with our second kid and due in less than 2 months so its all a big cycle or something. (Touch wood.)

Thats the deal isnt it...party hard in your 20's and years later it bites you hard.
