Is Episodes from Liberty City out yet for PS3?

I know the EB website says the release date is tomorrow, but have any of you managed to pick it up today?

If they release it as the xbox ones, it'll be downloadable and available on disc from game stores.

The Disc copy had some extra songs and stuff on it on xbox so might be the better option.

Get them...they're awesome. Massive improvement on the original game

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can either get it as DLC off the Playstation store or buy a copy from a store in the traditional disc format.

So bought these Episodes on Friday... played a lot of it during the weekend, has all the good features of GTA with a few tweaks here and there to make it even better! I started both episodes and much prefer working for the bikies instead of the gay latinos. About 40% through Lost and Damned and am hanging to finish work today to get back into it...

I'm not sure, but for those of us with no internet connection at home, I think the liberty city stories disc trophies include the trophies from the original (the original didn't allow trophies at the time of issue).

Can someone verify this?

I am in the UK and want to pick up Liberty City Stories. Am I right in thinking that the games will work at home (Aus)? I swear I read somewhere that PS3 games are not region locked..

That is true, ALL PS3 games are not region locked.

I bought the eps from the US and have been playing them without troubles.

The only issues you may get is if the game has DLC. Some will work, some won't. For example my Batman: Arkham Asylum game is of UK region but the free DLC works perfectly (haven't bought the paid for, so can't vouch for that working or not).

So if the game you're getting has DLC, just be wary that you may not be able to buy and play the DLC when you get back.

This game needs more love. I reckon it was rockstar's last great effort in the GTA series. Murmurs online about a remaster possibly in 2023, nothing concrete though. But it might explain Take Two's much more aggressive take-down of IV mods in recent weeks.

I remember that first feeling of exploring Hove Beach with Vladivostok playing on the radio. The gritty atmosphere, the story, and of course the physics which still remain unmatched in any game since. It's a mix of Goodfellas/The Godfather/The Sopranos all in one. This is probably my favorite game ever alongside Witcher 3.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is one of the best DLC's ever, too.

A remaster could work if they put in actual effort but the recent trilogy bust may mean it's better to just leave it alone.

The rumours seem as strong as they have ever been that a remaster of GTA IV and RDR are both happening. Rockstar taking down the mods like they have done with GTA III/VC/SA is a good indication that IV is getting remastered.
