Ah cheers. So far I've only played a little bit online, just on Death Match. Didn't really do it for me, but I'm going to give the other options a go - Death Match type gaming doesn't' really strike me as a great way to play GTA4 anyway. What modes have you tried?

I figured out possibly the only thing wrong with this game, what do you do with your money once you've finished the game?

For some unknown reason Properties haven't been included in this game to buy, in every other GTA game you could buy several properties per island, this game doesn't seem to have any reason once you have bought all the clothes to spend money on.

It sort of makes the money for completing missions a bit obcelete(sp?), sure there are a few things to buy, but once you have the weapons and clothes, nothing else.

Don't know about you, but I spent over 100 grand on weapons just for the last mission, still left me with 600 grand by the time I'd finished so I see what you mean.

I also catch Taxi's a lot when I have to catch up with mates or go on dates. It is the best way to make sure you get to them on time.

speaking of taxi's, is there a special trick to go get into the backseat so you can select where to go?

cause i can go 10-15 taxi's without getting in the back, but rather jumping the taxi driver... it gets frustrating!

Anyway, finished the storyline in 26 hours lol.

If you hold down the 'get in/steal car' button then you will jump in the back.. so on Ps3 you press L1 to whistle and then hold triangle. From there you can select a shitload of destinations.

Don't know about the PS3 but on the 360 version you don't even need to hail it, just hold Y and he gets in anyway, kicking any other passengers out.

I just tried the last mission twice, quite the bitch. It'd be nice if there were some checkpoints.

Try the racing games mate.

Have had a great time so far playing the racing games, espcially the GTA racing game.

Had the rocket launcher in one game last night, but managed to flip my car when taking a corner. I was pretty much stuffed, so I got out hid behind a tree. Then when the rest of race came past my position, I let rip with the rocket launcher and took out all of the leaders. Managed to jack a car after that and win the race. Hilarious.

Speaking of this, what's the best way to get some cash? I need some money to buy a gun to kill a bloke at the train station. I haven't played a GTA game for years, so assuming I would get a weapon before being expected to kill a bloke, I was standing on the platform like a ________ with this is Russian flog shooting me in the face and me trying to punch him from 25 metres away. Didn't work, funnily enough.

aha, i dont know why but i seriously lol'ed at that

anyway, the best way to make quick money is by doing the side missions for each character, you can collect cars for brucie, stash drugs for little jacob etc

70.92% of the way through it. Spending all my time doing Most Wanted jobs and looking for pigeons to shoot. Only got 10 of the suckers so far, 190 to go.

Does anyone know how many assain missions there are?

I go off the ramp, and jump on to the helicopter, after chasing pegorino for a bit, I get taken out by a rocket.... any ideas?

For those up to the last mission -

Hightlight - Any tips on how to defeat this pegarino prick once he is getting away in the boat and you have to fly the chopper and also use the mini guns against him? I can get to the part no problem, but I'm not in the chopper long before he starts firing rockets at me (LJ & Roman don't do shit, more of a liability if you ask me. Worst thing is everytime I fail the mission I get a call from LJ making me start it again, meaning I can't save the damn thing, and since I did about four missions straight before my last save looks like I will be here all night trying to kill him.

Smoke break. Damn.

Did you have any luck with this in the end?

karl, if you go a bit higher then it gives you more time to dodge the missles. then shoot at the boat, then he hits u with a missle and you both land on happiness island then u chase him and kill him.

yeah i stayed low first, then he got me way to easy. stay high and then let him shoot, then descend a bit and have a shot at him...if you miss, just ascend so he cant get you and keep going.

how hard are those flying rats to find? man i've found like 5.

Yeah I know, for 200 of them they are certainly hidden well.

Highlight>>>>If you do the assination missions there is one called R.U.V or something like that, anyway if you do the mission there are a heap of blokes doing a drug deal in the alley, in that same alley there are two pigeons to kill, I have managed to kill 12.

yeah do what anti. said, it was a massive pain in the arse because it takes a while to get to that bit!

The first time I did that mission I jumped into the chopper and thought Little Jacob was still driving, so I just shot the cannons like crazy and the chopper plunged into the water. I was a bit peeved to say the least.

Just sneak up behind the guy and push him onto the tracks when the train comes.

Am 75.42% into the game now, and I think I only have Stevie's cars, flying rats and stunt jumps to complete.

Somebody said Stevies is worth 2%, so I'm assuming stunt jumps and pigeons are worth 10% each and I must have one random person mission left aswell.

Bloody hard to complete the stunt jumps and pigeons though, I'm think without a playguide would be near impossible with the size of the map and the exploring you would have to do.

Pigeons are worth 2.5% and so are the stunt jumps.

Yeah Stevies cars is worth 2%

Have you done all the other ones like Most Wanted, Vigilante and done the friends one? Friends one is worth 10%!
