No he was not but he was responsible for the Chris Mayne contract that did become part of the flow on effect with back ending deals already in place.

Edit I correct that he was there for the Treloar deal and the Daniel Wells

He has had various roles at 4 clubs but is the common demonitor.
Put the Giants list together that overflowed with talent but they had/have players running away with a salary dump of their own.
Went to Collingwood after a year ban and whilst not the list manager surely played a part with his ‘knowledge’ Now the pies are a basket case.

Now he is at StKilda and they have players pouring in suddenly.

Has the success at the Lions with the extra salary cap made him greedy?
Once the Lions time was up they did crumble. We all would take a crumbling if it meant that type of success but wherever Gubby goes the same things happen.

IF he is the SOLE decision maker, recruiting, list management, & contract renewal. Its not in most clubs .... this thread is short on detail for a reason.
