3rd round available next update

If Wright & LaVerde are on the board at Pick 5, you can lock in LaVerde to Collingwood.
Wright & Moore in the same draft would be tantalising though.

Wishful thinking De Goey will slip through to 17.
Not really. The only one taken ahead of him that I wouldn't expect is Garlett. Either way, I'm thinking North will take one of Cockatoo or De Goey and Essendon the other.

West Coast have spoken to De Goey a number of times. Apart from Pickett, they rate him as their next best.

Yeah, I'm expecting West Coast to go with Pickett, but after them Richmond's a maybe, probably not if Langford or Duggan is available, Freo, Adelaide and GC to go for key defence, then North and Essendon to be split De Goey and Cockatoo. Still not outrageous for him to go pick 17.

Source haven't heard this at all? May need to change it in my update

Know his family very well.
I think he will surprise a few at how highly he is rated by recruiters.
Could go anywhere from 8 to 14.
He is one of the few bonafide mids in the first round.
The rest apart from Brayshaw, Weller, Petracca (who may be a high half forward) & Heeney (Academy) are flankers before they are mids.

I can see him coming to us at 12.
He fills a lot of our needs.
Quick, inside player and like dusty and cotch can rotate through the foward line and make an impact.

De goey to tigers or eagles then most likely in my next one which will be done soon

Really good effort, I think on the day teams will reach a bit for needs but looks like a really solid order based on talent.

What concerns me is how he has inside credentials, but wins so little ball.

Being low production against kids rarely translates well at AFL level

If Adelaide take a KPD with their 1st pick as you suggest I can almost guarantee Bampton won't be it in the 2nd round, it will be someone with "oodles" of outside speed and efficient kicking skills and in keeping with Walsh's want for more left footers most likely a left footer.
