Has this happened to anyone else?

Before the start of the weekend. I checked my team, made sure I had everyone in, right captain assigned etc etc. One of those things I checked off was that I had Matthew Bate playing in my backline.

So I log on Sunday afternoon and all of a sudden in Matthew Bates place is Clint Bartram. WTF ... I did NOT make any trades, and there's no way in hell I would have made that trade anyway, even if I was blind drunk, which I wasnt.

What should I do, email an admin. And has anyone else had this problem in the past? Just as well it didn't cost me any of my games.

I think he's alluding to the fact that Bate is listed as a FWD only and not even available as a BACK.

So from my powers of deduction i believe you were having a little bit of a tipple and kokd it up yrself.

I think he was referring to the fact that you can't select Bate as a defender. Any chance you confused the two when trading? One of your friends might have hacked into your account and traded for you in which case there is nothing that can be done about it

No I never traded Bate. Selected him pre-season so it's not possible and I doubt if one of my friends hacked they'd have traded Bate for Bartram. They would have traded Cox for Hille or something stupid like that.

No I selected Bate at the start of the year as a back. I just assumed he was one of those players that is listed as a FWD/DEF so maybe I've been getting a free ride for 8 rounds in that regard. Still a confusing situation.

Have a look at your team from round 1, is Bate in it?

You can't select Bate as a Back.

Obviously your doing something wrong.

Perhaps take a screen shot of your team with bate in it, and then one with bartram with the respective rounds indicated in the picture.

Also take a screen shot of your trade history up to and including this round and send those to an admin.

thats the only thing that i can think of that may help.

Have a look at your team from round 1, is Bate in it?

Its showing Bartram now but I assure you that I've had Bate in the back line from rounds 1 to 7. I am 100% certain of this, I would sit there with the live scoring on Dream Team open and watching Matthew Bates score. Perhaps like people have pointed out there was a glitch with the system when I first picked my team and if thats the case it's only fair its been fixed up, but I know I had Bate as a back.

Can you view your team from a previous round (1-7), take a screenshot, and prove that Bate was in fact in the backline?

Yes, that would be the only reason. Pretty unfair that they would give you Bartram though, he is useless.

It's obviously a glitch that they fixed, and has turned out unfortunately for your team. Bad luck.

You don't need your mate to send you screen shots, you should be able to do it yourself.

Did you notice when, we presume, VS swapped Bartram with Bate if your cash balance and or points overall changed? Did they use a trade to swap the 2 or have your trades remained the same? You need to have a look through your trade history and previous points scored to see if any adjustments have been made.

Frustrating i guess, gee i hope my Warren morphs into Roo, but i'm sure it doesnt work that way.

The least they could have done was swap him for a player of sim value and points scored this year.

Yeah that's the thing, lost no trades, lost no money. Quite odd. I'm working a late shift tonight so I don't have time to study my scores etc now but I'll have a look tomorrow when I have some free time.
