Wrestling = fine. I think he was pushing down on the collarbone (which hurts) rather than choking. He still has a fistful of jumper so not a full on choke. Could have had a thumb on the windpipe but do it to yourself and see if you can last as long as Petrie did.
Yeah but they sent it straight to the tribunal because it didn't fit nearly into their predefined boxes.

out - duryea please he is easily our worst decision maker litherland has his spot, hale makes ben rutten look quick, sewell for obvious reasons , lake and
ross i prefer simpkin as the sub optiion

in's- mcevoy paid so much for him put him in the team, hill, langford ,simpkin (sub) and cheney will get a go probably get him to try play a gibbo role as 3rd man up and i believe clarko wont just leave it up to shoey and spangher.

birchall would have to be touch and go this week also looks to be very sore also for anyone who watches training whats whitecross up to in his rehab is he in full training yet ??

The coaches and selection committee seem to think of Duryea is very much part of the future. Therefore, i doubt he will be going anywhere, particularly when we are short of mids and hence Burgers and Hodge need to spend time away from the back half.

They have also made it clear that they would rather use Cheney as the man-on-man player and let others go third up, so if Cheney comes in, it is to go head-to-head with a key forward. I would expect they are more likely if Lake goes out, to play Schoey and Spang down back and bring in TO to play up forward in his home town.

Just my ramblings though...

Out: Sewell

In: Hill

Maybe Hale or Cegs for McEvoy.

If Lake goes, then I expect Tim O'Brien to come in.

The Hawks have had a lot of luck this year.

Sadly it has all been ******* bad.
I agree mate, we can relate to that tho. We are only now finally getting something close to resembling our best 22 for the first time this year and consequently starting to win a few games. We could only dream of the incredible lucky run that our cross town rivals have shared.

I think this is almost spot on

I wouldn't mind seeing Tim O'Brien come in to stick it to the Crows if Lake goes - They don't exactly have the best defence in the world at the moment and with the Truck out and Talia to probably play on Rough he might be able to get a good run at it.

The only change to your post would be Hill in for Ross and Langford for Sewell.

I don't think Ross did a huge amount last week. To be honest I would prefer a Hallahan or Woodward (Disposal quality good or not) rather than give him another run. He hasn't offered much at all in the few times that he has been sub.

I hope this injury lingers a further week...

"KURT TIPPETT'S frustrating run with the Sydney Swans has continued, with the star key forward to miss another week with ongoing issues surrounding his troublesome knee.

Tippett missed the opening seven games of the season battling knee tendinitis, returning in round eight and playing the next four games, kicking 12 goals.

He then damaged the meniscus in his knee against Gold Coast in round 12, requiring minor surgery, missing two more games before coming back against GWS in round 15.

There were some whispers Tippett was in doubt for Sunday's game against West Coast in Perth, and while he made the flight, the key forward was a late withdrawal."

EDIT: Shit just realised that it's the bye the following week.

From the training pics on the Hawthorn site, Ross trained with the main group this week, so I'd say he's in.

Who goes to Big Tex?? Lake has already been given 3-6 weeks by the media so we need to find a replacement for him...
Big Boy Maca has to come in that's a given and same with Hill.
Wouldn't mind seeing Lowdan come in too but we can't play Big boy, Cegs and Luke...

@SamLandsberger: Hawks will give Brad Hill a fitness test to determine availability v Crows on Friday night. Sewell to miss a month, Gibson still 1-2 away.
