That stuff he said to his woman about this being all her doing was very off too I reckon. It sounded to me like when you hear of child victims of sexual abuse saying their abuser made them feel like they were to blame for it all, I might be reading too much into that but I definitely got the impression he was repeating that line from a time when something similar was said to him.

Add in the fact that they've clearly established he has a rocky relationship with his mother and has issues spending the night with another and it seems like he's definitely been through some shit.

I haven't seen the trailer for next week, but I'm pretty sure he's dead. How can you survive shotgun blasts to the chest?

I guess that's why most of his scenes in the trailer happened in the first episode.
