Could Caleb possibly be in the Carlton senior team next year?

I'm just chucking this one out there due to him being on our list. I think he's only 18 so he obviously has a lot to do before he makes our senior side.

How was the form of Rhys O'Keefe the past season? Have heard some good things about him.
Any chance of making the team next year?

Don't think there is much hope of Tiller playing in 2010. He is only as old as this years 18 yo's and was drafted as a project payer. Still no where near devloped enough.

Give him some time :)

Rhys finished the seasoned injured, like the progress of Tiller, has put on alot of size since he was drafted and i've seen him work very hard at training, wouldn't be surprised if he gets blooded this year as a backman. But dont think he'd get a regular run for another 2 years yet. Maybe when scotland retire's. But i like what i see so far

Carlton picked him over panos in that draft who was taller and bigger than tiller
but tiller would have gone top 15 in this 2009 draft i reckon.

i reckon he will play 2-3 games in 2010 but he won't play regular senior footy until 2011/12. he will still be developing for the next 2 years (2010/11). i like him as a player and he can bring another dimension to our forward line in the future. he is a medium forward who is strong on the lead and a good set shot on goal. he is good overhead and attacks the ball well.

I believe that Rhys could play an important part in our team next year if he gets his body sorted out. Tiller is 2+ years off.
C'mon people you need to know your limitations we talking about players picked like 40 or 50 and like 70. The truth is they may only play a hand full of games at all and get delisted after 3 seasons. Adam Hartlett and Jake Edwards will probably get delisted and they went like 24 and 36.

O'Keeffe made the under 18s All-Australian team and was tipped to go top 30 last year but in such a strong draft he dropped into the 60's. Caleb played in the TAC cup grand final as a bottom age kid(I didn't rate him much last year but others did)

I think he'll have another two years of development before we see anything from him.

2 Years:confused: If that were the case, I think we'd have another WH special, ala Raso.

I realise we've stunted his development by taking him out of the elite U18 competition and dumping him in a Z-grade suburban team known as the Bullants seconds. Still, with a big pre-season I'd expect him to play every game in the Bullants seniors, with the expectation of a 2nd half of the year Carlton debut.

I'm not sure how many of this year's eighteen yr old top 20 prospects were eligible last year but in any case we selected him above all of them, which must count for something. I'm not expecting miracles but I'd hope he played around half a dozen games toward the end of the year as a 19 year old.

Lost his family home in the Vic bushfires I believe. The club has been taking things very slowly with him as a result.

I wouldn't be expecting a great deal from him next season.

Really? Wow, that's huge. I had no idea.
