Highlights for 2001

I am not sure whether someone had posted a similar thread, but here goes anyway :

My highlights for 2001

1. The Dees performance against Essendon even though we did not win.

2. Our win against Adelaide at Football Park.

3. Our win against The Bulldogs at Colonial, even though the crowd was dismal (did you guys know that the Storm outdrew the Dees by roughly 3,000 the next game against the Broncos?)

4. Any win as a matter of fact

5. The get together with supporters after the Freo game in the Victory room

Just a couple I thought of.
Anyone want to add any guys. Just thought I would start the ball rolling

Well I did post something similar but oh well I guess I'll have to write all my highlights again!

• The Carlton Win
• Both Sydney games
• Both Geelong games
• Robbo's marks (espeically the Freo one)
• The Freo game for that matter

On a more personal note:

• The live taping of DeeTV.... the lasting live taping for the year
• The very first pre-season training of 2002 (what? that was in 2001 )

- The win against the Bulldogs is something we all remember!
But we all know that happens once every full moon.

Since 1994 the stats have been one sided.

Bulldogs 9 - 3 Melbourne.
There were not many fond Melbourne moments of the year, unless you wanna count Gutnics election as fond!

Ummm maybe from an Essendon or Bulldogs fan point of view! We all admit we had a sh$t year and unlike SOME teams we are not making any excuses . We are however, able to draw the positives and be happy with them rather than dwell on the bad lights of the year! DEAL WITH IT!

X Box I would not start getting into a slanging match compring Melbourne to the Bulldogs. We would win hands down. Grand Finals, Finals just to name a few. Also I will take you back a bit. 1994 Semi Final Meb v Dogs, what a good game that was.

As For Mr. X-Box-X and Mr. Stegelator...they are just having a lend of us...we know deep down they like the Dees...

At least those 2 guys are right, the Dees do have a terrible record against the Dons/Dogs.
