I reckon he'll be safe.

He was in the air before Bartel marked it and contact was not very forceful.

Looked like there was nothing in it from what I saw at the game. Four or five years ago that woulda been play on I reckon, just borderline of in the contest. The commentators mentioned he attempted to pull out but was already in the air...

I don't think he should go, he outweighs Bartel by 634kgs and could have flattened him but didn't.

Unfortunately, he did hit the head.

One week with a plea I'm guessing.

Judging by today we should crush Fremantle with or without him though.

Look similar to the Rich/Chaplain hit from last year. IIRC he copped a 2 week suspension, which would be around the mark for Hille. imo there wasn't really anything in the bump and if this was to occur a few years ago no one would even fuss about it.

When I first saw it I thought straight away 2 weeks. The Geelong bloke took the mark before Hille had even left the ground. It did not look good.

Havent seen a replay yet but initial thoughts were not good, made no real attempt for the ball and was late.

**** me dead, I was 50 metres away, & it was nothing more than a forceful hip n shoulder. Yes it was marginally late, & the slow-mo will look bad, but he didn't really hit too high for mine. Definitely a 50 metre, but nothing else IMO.

So he'll probably get a month

Last thing Hille needs is to sit out of the game. The last minute shoulder roll could have him in trouble, but I think it could go either way. I think we could mount an argument that he rolled his shoulder last minute to protect himself and I be disappointed if we don't challenge if he goes.

2 weeks it looked to me. Was going for the mark then changed decision mid air, looked to protect himself and made contact with Bartels head. Replays made it look worse than it was.

I thought he missed the head. Like Ryder's against Adelaide last year. And he was already in the air going for the mark so it can't be intentional. At worst 2, but I think he should get off.

**** me, what's the game coming to if he gets time. He is in the air when Bartel marks the ball. What does the AFL want him to do? Point a remote at his body and push pause? There is no way you can stop the momentum of your body during the marking contest, all he can do is tuck the elbow in and hope contact is minimal.
