Enough with all the jokes! Hodge wasnt that bad
After seeing all these Luke Hodge bashing threads I have to admit I am a little shocked. I honestly thought he played a good game and his stats werent all that bad. He got the footy 21 times, a pretty good effort. Of this, 8 were contested which is also good. Of his disposals 52.38% were effective which means that just over half the time he had the ball he did something good with it. He didnt kick a goal though which was unfortunate, but he did try hard. He marked the ball 8 times, 2 of these were when other players were around which is very hard to do. He managed to finish with 6 clangers but his 21 possessions make up for that. Overall I would have to say that Luke Hodge had a pretty good game and I really dont know what all the fuss is all about.

Will Rooke get 3 Brownlow votes just for playing on Hodge?
As Hodge's negative influence on the game was so great, is it possible that Rooke will feature in Brownlow voting simply for being his opponent? Has this ever happened before? This saga is sure to add some extra interest to Brownlow night

Hodge didn't appear to have his head in the game all night. I wonder if maybe he was pre-occupied thinking about something else? He has a valid excuse this time IMO, he's gonna be a Dad soon. Clarkson shouldn't have played him.

I was half hoping someone would do the choking sign to Williams after Geelong won, but it seems as if the Cats players are classier then me. (Which isn't hard admittedly.)
