How do they keep doing it ? Because they are the best

We obviously did.

What people fail to remember that in the first half of the year it was the opposition chasing down us and holding on for the win. It wasn't until round 16 against Gold Coast where we chased down a sizeable lead late for the win.

It was prior to that game. Although Collingwood was up at 3qtr time against Hawthorn, Hawks were 10 points up half way thru the quarter. They were actually dominating early in that Qtr similar to GC were in the first half of the 4th Qtr. It was Henry’s goal with about 5 mins to go that put us back in front.

That's pretty much what Brisbane did. Collingwood lifted the pressure but so did the Lions and kept attacking. Instead of trying to hold the lead kept pushing and was able to get out the back and outscore Collingwood in the last. By playing on and running forward at every chance there are spares out the back all the time, it’s a high risk/high reward tactic. Teams have to be brave enough to take them on

Collingwood were playing high octane style pretty much for the entire last Qtr. Yes the lions did not go in their shell and scored a few easy ones but the pies did not handle the high humidity well. They were fumbling the ball quite a bit trying to take the game on.
Had that last Qtr been played at the G, I’m not so sure the Lions would have held on. It was just my observation.
