Hall of Famer
Many of the posts bemoan the dumbness of our playing list but on the other hand compliment our drafting in the last 2 years.
This suggests that we have drafted Dumb Players prior to 2006.
How does the recruiting staff decide who is a smart player ?
Is is by constant match evaluation during a players junior career ?
Is it by a serious of different kinds of tests ?
IMO Sam Lonergan is a developing player who makes good decisions, has adequate skills and can apply defensive pressure.
But how do you find recruit/select players with these attributes.
