Fremantle
2018 senior list: 39
Deletions: 7 (Pearce, Johnson, Spurr retired, Neale traded, Grey, Sheridan, Sutcliffe delisted)
Additions: 7 (Conca, Hogan, Lobb, Colyer traded/FA, Banfield, Nyhuis, Duman reportedly upgraded)
Live picks: 1 (currently 14, also have 31, 43, 65, more delistings to come?)

Banfield and Duman have been upgraded. Says it clear as day in the articles about there re-signings on the club website.

The afl site keeps saying we’ve quietly committed to Nyhuis for next year but nothing official has been announced. Sounds very much like he’s been delisted and re-rookied imo.

Would leave us with two live selections with one, maybe two other delistings to come.

GWS Giants
2018 senior list: 38
Deletions: 7 (Griffen retired, Scully, Shiel, Setterfield, Lobb traded, Mohr, Tiziani delisted)
Additions: 0
Live picks: 9 (currently 9, 11, 19, 25, 52, 89, 107, 125, 143 will probably pass the last couple)

Mohr's delisting was unsurprising, but Tiziani's was. I'm not sure what we'll do from here - I suspect there's a twist somewhere. What I think is that we'll reduce that by 2 - either DFAs or rookie upgrades or a mixture - and take 7 live picks to the draft; where we will only make 5 selections to go to a list of 38 again. Mummy's return may be the wildcard - whether we see that we need to draft him in the national draft rather than the rookie draft - if it proceeds.

Thanks, I’ve edited to remove Nyhuis from the upgrades :thumbsu:

Hard to work out where more delistings will come from. Maybe Jones will be bumped down to the rookie list? He seemed to be very out of favour by the end of the year.

Gold Coast
2018 senior list: 38
Deletions: 8 (Rosa retired, Lynch, Hall, Kolodjashnij, May, Scrimshaw traded, Barlow, Rischitelli delisted)
Additions: 8 (Ellis, Miles, Horlin-Smith, Hombsch traded, Burgess, Collins, Corbett signed, MacPherson upgraded) (may also upgrade Holman)
Live picks: 2 (currently 2, 3, also have 6, 24, 29, presumably more delistings to come)

St Kilda
2018 senior list: 40
Deletions: 8 (Stevens retired, Hickey traded, Freeman, Gilbert, Goddard, Minchington, Wright, Weller delisted)
Additions: 3 (Hannebery, Kent traded, Marshall upgraded)
Live picks: 5 (currently 4, 36, 46, 67, 79)

Would St Kilda trade pick 4 for Gold Coasts picks 6 and 24?

Given Hogan and Lobb coming in you would assume they try to delist and re-rookie Apeness or Jones i reckon.

So with List Lodgment 1 coming up this week there's still some mystery over a few clubs

Collingwood yet to announce its delistings. Broomhead will apparently be re-rookied, Kirby might be forced into retirement by his heart issue, Smith, McLarty and Blair seem to be the other senior list players most likely of getting chopped. They also have a heap of rookies they could upgrade, including Thomas who is pretty much a dead cert, Mihocek and Appleby (although I think they've confirmed the latter will remain on the rookie list).

Fremantle, Gold Coast and North Melbourne need to delist some more players to take full advantage of their draft hands. Lonergan and Leslie don't have contracts with the Suns, so they're on borrowed time. The other two clubs will need to drop players down to the rookie list - Switkowski and Jones might be the ones for Freo, I'd be totally guessing at North's. Declan Watson?

Hawthorn have cut very deep considering their first two picks are currently 53 and 90. Even if they take a DFA or two and pass their last couple they'll still have live picks long after most clubs are finished.

Most of those situations have resolved themselves today.

Collingwood have delisted Broomhead, Blair, Murray, McLarty and Josh Smith (and rookie-listed Adam Oxley) while Kayle Kirby has had to retire. They've committed to redraft Broomhead and Murray as rookies.

Freo have delisted Apeness and Hughes but will redraft them as rookies.

Gold Coast have delisted Lonergan, Scheer and Wigg. The latter two will be re-rookied but Lonergan's on his own.

Hawthorn have confirmed that Conor Nash, David Mirra and James Cousins will all be promoted to the senior list, while Will Langford has either retired or been delisted depending on which outlet you get your news from.

Have said they will use 5 or 6
Reckon it will be 5, & a senior list of 38.

Yeah probably 4 or 5 for the Dees. Pick 23, Pick 28, Pick 54 (Likely to be used on Toby Bedford), Pick 62 and then maybe use Pick 91 (which will end up being a much higher pick, when teams start passing) on a player rather than waiting until the Rookie Draft. First in; best dressed I suppose.
