I couldn't punch him. He was a nice guy and I couldn't do that to him. But I don't blame him, few people can keep their hands to themselves when I'm floating about.

It's not entirely a bad thing. I don't know what it is, but I've always driven gay guys wild. I wish I could figure it out, reverse the polarity of it and make it work equally well on the women. It does after a fashion. Lesbians tend to like me too. Although with them instead of saying, "Too bad your'e straight." they say "Too bad I'm not straight." 
It's a joke with my friends. If we go to a large enough public outing, it's a guarantee I'll get hit on by some gay guys before the day is out. It's not that big a deal really. Although it disgusts me to think about what they do in the sack, most gay dudes I've met are nice enough folks.
You can use it to your advantage too. One guy apparently spent so much time talking about me (and his disappointment that I'm not gay) that his hot sister started calling. She and I worked out pretty well for a while. Another introduced me to a good-looking bi chick. There is no greater teacher than a bi girl. They know all the parts, and if you ask, they aren't shy in sharing their wealth of knowledge. Conversely, a hetero girl will tell you nothing that you are doing wrong - then tell all of her friends how terrible you were.
So Rohan, the next time it happens resist the urge to kick the guy's ass. Instead, tell him you're straight and ask him if he has a hot sister.
