Well imagine if he emulates similar results like what he did at north?
Brad Scott stays at Essendon for 10 seasons and gets 4 finals wins.
Hell even if he emulates half of what he does at north and lasts 5 years and gets 2 finals wins out of this group, Essendon fans will be overjoyed.

Fremantle are not the model of success or consistentcy.
But as crap as Freo has been from 1995-2022, there's a startling stat since Essendon had their last finals win since 2004.
From 2005-2022, Fremantle has had 7 finals wins. At least 4 dockers AFL coaches have got at least 1 finals win for the dockers.
Chris Connolly: 2006 semi final vs demons.
Mark Harvey: 2010 Elim final vs hawks.
Ross Lyon: 2012 Elim final vs the cats. 2013 qualifying final vs the cats, 2013 preliminary final vs the swans, 2015 qualifying final vs the swans
Justin Longmuir: 2022 Elim final vs the dogs.

Went all the extra miles to get the coach sacked, the one who got more out of the worst list at the worst Club in the AFL than anyone could believe possible.
Meanwhile, the intervention of Kingy and Arch burned NORF (the last half inch they had left above it) to the ground.
Why is that dumb campaigner on a payrole. Anywhere.

Both times north made those preliminary finals In 2014-5, both times they came from 5th to 8th and won 2 finals each in both years

He was using Sooz's pressing up and running like mad gameplan back then so it's no surprise Norf didn't make the Top 4.
Hopefully for Essendon's sake Sooz can give Brad a better Top 4 gameplan to use like the one she gave to Chris this year.
