Does anyone have any updates/news as to how he's coping with this injury both physically and mentally?

I would be so devasted if this injury ruined his career and he never returned with that flash and spark that he has shown us.

It certainly wouldn't ruin his career. He's young and it's not a huge injury like a knee reco or achillies break.

I reckon he'll be fine in the last third of the year to help our run towards finals ;)

I certainly hope not aye, because I think he is mega important to the Demons future successes. :thumbsu:

Absolute best case he could be back playing footy in as little as 4 weeks. The club is still saying about 8 weeks, but I was speaking to someone at the club who said it is coming on much better than expected. He is back to almost full running, and is kicking and marking the ball. Not doing any physical work thus work, and not a great deal of weights work with that arm yet, but he is further along than the club thought he would be. The sooner the better. We've already got our on-field form to excite us, imagine that coupled with the Jurrahcane!

As a side not, Aussie is being treated very carefully at the moment. The club wants him up and about and fully fit for the Darwin game. So fair chance he might come back into the team in round 7 or 8.

Saw the WW outside the G on Sat Night, looked pretty tall, taller than I remembered anyway :D

Also If you watch the video on the official site of the boys singing the song, you can see LJ and Wonna watching on outside the circle. Good to see the boys are still about on the day, and hopefully will get a yearning to get back into that circle :)

I hear from a close source that he wants to be out there soooo badly. Loves playing at the G for the Dees, it's what this whole journey is about.
