I would like to throw down a challenge to Dermie (a self proclaimed CHF superstar), to drive down the highway (or we can chauffeur him) to KP to identify and mentor a CHF under his wing and prove to the world that his is not full of ****e.

Dermie, create a star for us! Make our team whole!

You know it's the hardest task in footy Dermie. Or it is just too hard? What can you do in one year?

MrCatMan.

May as well strike while the iron is hot, the mirrors may not have been taken down from Lordy being back at the club yet.

Why would Geelong need fwits like Dermie at the club. Create more trouble than it is worth.

Three reasons why he won't.

1) Teaching someone is a lot different to doing it.

2) Dermie hates Geelong and wouldn't do anything to benefit us, even to satiate his industrial-strength ego.

3) He's a coward and full of hot air. Petty sniping is more his style.

Why would we need to get Dermott Brereton down to our club when we have one of the best centre half forwards of the 1990's, (before he broke his leg) in Barry Stoneham already there?? I would much rather see Barry be given some sort of forward coaching role then someone outside the club.

I would only want to see Stoneham as just someone who came in when needed to give advice. I don't think Bazza's had any coaching experience what so ever, and thrusting him into such an important area for Geelong could backfire.

By all means, bring him down at times to give his help and offer support to players and coaches, but nothing more than that ATM.
