Yes. Morrisey, Dear, and Lawrence tore West Coast apart, the game was at Waverley, and Angry Anderson performed a great song on a sh*t car. Happy?

I also remember the following year losing to West Coast over in Perth in the semi-final, but of course, I was six, and no one can possibly remember that far back. :rolleyes:

I don't feel that Creed have a same/similar sound to Pearl Jam.

Hitter is upset because Creed are far to commercialised and 'mainstream' for his liking ...

A pet hate of mine is when someone pretends to you for months on end to actually care then is too gutless to admit they were full of bull****. :rolleyes:

Ditto for people who are pathetic enough to air someone else's dirty laundry in public without the knowledge of the parties involved. :rolleyes: When the issue was sorted out :rolleyes:

You take things too personally, Dan ... I think 'bragging' is how you perceive it, as opposed to how they intend it.

I don't think people who travel regularly believe that they are "better" than people that choose not to. But I reckon they are more cultured, and do have a better understanding of goings on outside their own environment.

For example, you would have a better understanding of the American culture than I do, having seen it first hand. I have a better understanding of Greek culture than you do, having been born there.

It doesn't make them (travellers) "better", but it is a strength, and gives their opinion added credibility when discussing topics of that nature -- Just like FootyAddict X has a better understanding of the culture, history and tactics of football than someone who has watched a game or two on TV. "Out-doing" or "bragging" about your depth of knowledge and experience with footy etc. to the casual footy observer doesn't make you "a better person" than they are (and I'm sure that's not your intention if/when you do indeed do that), but it does show that you have a more solid understanding/background on that particular topic.




As for my hates:

  • People without any common decency/morals
  • Superficial/shallow people
  • Tall people
  • People who like ice cream (sorry)
  • Alistair Lynch
  • People who ridicule Altona beach (that 'funny' smell adds character! :mad: )
  • People that key cars (what are you f*cking gaining out of it you pricks? :mad: )

I seem to recall asking a certain Dan25 a very similar question re his recollection of 84/85 Essendon sides who gave me assurance his memory as an eight/nine year old was impeccable. For two years up on the hitman your not that far ahead in memory stakes, or is it the video thats doing the remembering for you as well?

I borrowed Human Clay off a friend, had it for a few months, I didn't actually buy it! I liked it for a little while, but it started to sh*t me, and now I hate them.
