When did you see them live? I saw the 'on the night' tour live and own about every DS album, was a huge fan but apart from the great music the live shows are pretty boring IMO

I saw Dire Straits at Olympic park.
Brothers in Arms tour.
Venue didn't suit them, and yeah, the quality of the recordings was way better than the live sound.
It was something that was generally said about them at the time.
