Just saw the score.

Cr@p play by us.

Good by the Pies

Someone shoot the umpires. People around me couldnt believe how nuts I was going even when we had a free kick paid to us. Saw some bemused looks from in front. I dont know what was more disgraceful our play or the umpires. DISGRACE ALL ROUND

hahaahah quarter time considering that they got with in 2 or 3 kicks in the last wouldnt u have felt like a real tosser if they got up.

thats really soft ur surpose to support ur team through hard times not jsut jump on board when there going well.

bad luck cats i still believe u's will be a top 4 team, just need someone to stand up down forward that can kick straight

and you WCE did great against the magpies yourself, down in your unpenetrable foreign country home ground.

It wasnt as much my team as the umpiring. And it wasnt as much that I thought it was biased, on the contrary it was just a disgrace. I cant sit their and watch the destroy a game of football.

You were outplayed completely by a team that are playing with confidence in the most even season ever of AFL, with three wins against quality opposition you'd have to say that they;re one of the form sides at the moment.

It'll be nice to get a week of peace and quiet about your premiership credentials though.

And what sort of fair weather fan leaves at qtr time?!?!

And what were you cats fans going on about Shannon Byrnes deserving the Rising star over Mclean. He would have had one of the worst games by a player in a geelong jumper 'ever'.

King was shocking also. That air swing that he had at the ball was laughable.

P**s off numbnut.

King was shocking also.

No arguement

As i have ststed in the past many say our eveniess is our strong point but i believe its also our weak point, when 8-10 players go missing from our side we don't have a Gehrig, Hird or Judd to keep us in the game or turn it in our favour.

I am not that upset overall cause i beleive that our side is pretty good but i don't think good enough to win a flag, but its a even year anything can happen.

Our forward structure again was hopelss, we never look like taking a contested mark in our forward 50 ever.

Some tough decisions need to be made and King has to go i beleive, thank god D.Johnson got injured cause he is just a pure liabilty in our side, Tenace i am concerned about as i rate him highly but he just isnt up to it at the moment.

anyway look its not all doom and gloom but there are some bad signs at the moment and too many players r running forward to often which is a concern.

that first qtr was just not good enough at all.

Watching the game last night from the outset we were flat as a tack and really could not get our hands on the ball. Collingwood were fantastic at keeping the ball off us and their switching across the ground which really seemed to baffle us. Our skills were way down and so was our tackling. That first half was horrible as we played ungeelong football. We are generally tough hard, skillful but last night we werent for two and a half quarters. I think With H pulling out it did hurt our structure, but the way we delivered into the forward line was shocking at times. I think we may have got ahead of ourselves but also we have been as bad as teams have been as good over the last two weeks. We will bounce back we just gotta learn to deal with the pressure and lift our work rate. Our talent runs deep and we should come out of this better.

i waited until we got within 12 points in the final term, then they kicked a goal and i left.
So utterly disappointed tonight :(

You criticise us for not having confidence in our side....

This wasnt for lack of confidence in the team. We were three goals down or someshizzle. It had nothing to do with whether we won or lost, at that point if we had of lost I would have walked away from the game and angry guy. If we had of lost angry, draw angry. ********** we could have played the most amazing 3 quarters of football after that...BUT...if the umpires kept up with the cr@p they were doing. ANGRY.

So the moral being: when you get angry you walk away from our side, oblivious to all other factors?

Gotcha.

Funny stuff. my mate wanted to leave early. I told him to feel the pain, like I do with richmond.

They both still left early though.

Good game though, I think that King turnover cost you

Did anyone watch the saints v port game yesterday. 2nd quarter same thing. I had to turn off the TV. They completely disrupted the game with free kicks that werent there, were just blatently inconsistant or had no baring on the run of play at all. DISGRACE

...and I dont think i will be back this season. I will continue to buy a membership but will not go to the games until the AFL either
a) makes the rules easier to referee
b) gets some decent umpires

It is a joke. I saw 4 quarters of football on the weekend and two of them were completely overrun with bad umpiring. In todays game just disrupting a teams run for 10-20 minutes will cost them the game. JOKE

Should, doesn't mean they will. I got torn apart on this site last week for daring to criticise Geelong after their pathetic loss to Fremantle last week. I wonder if all the vegetables cheered off the side on Friday after yet another disgraceful showing. There is absolutely no excuse in the world for losing the last 2 weeks. We had a gold plated opportunity to cement ourselves in the top 2 and blew it big time. As I stated then, until they can grind out the results week in, week out they'll never be a premiership threat. They've got to improve a lot to convince me to waste time watching them again.
