... but it's worth it!!
I don't often post on here but I feel I need to share my story. As you will soon read, I have no-one else to talk to.
My missus is a passionate Power member. We were at the game, sitting amongst her passionate power member friends, and they were having a wow of a time at 3/4 time. I copped plenty!
As the final quarter rolled on I couldn't help but make the occassional comment like "didn't you have a bigger lead against Brisbane?" although I never really believed we could win it. I was just stoked we were finally making a contest.
Then Kruez...... then Simmo.... then Fev .... then the siren!!
We had planned to catch up with friends after the game (power supporters, of course) but that got canned around about the same time Fev took his mark just before the siren!
It was a very, very chilly ride home. A very, very lonely night (if you know what I mean) and very, very quiet morning. The only words I've heard from her today were "the baby's nappy needs changing." I happily did it, singing the song all the while
I may soon be looking for alternative housing arrangments, but it was worth it. What a win!
