If you look at the bigger picture its probably a good thing that we dont make finals as the jump from 15th and struggling to finals is too great. Someone inside the club said a similar thing but i cant recall who stated this.
The improvement we have seen this year is great. A lot of our players have taken giant steps in development and im sure will continue that and with another pre-season under them i think we can make a realistic charge at finals next year.
We are working more as a team and actually seem to be developing a "heart and soul" attitude at the club. We wont see the best of judd til next year when everyone knows how he plays and he knows how everyone else works. With the inclusion to gibbs to the midfield on a permanant basis next year we will have a fairly experienced and classy midfield.
Hopefully hartlett survives and edwards performs i think they can help build our forward line and maybe with some inclusions from trades and draft we can develop competition for spots in the fwd line.
Lot to look forward to guys its just a loss that we will build on and probably needed to bring our mind set back where it should be and not 3 months ahead.
