Don't worry, Brisbane are bending Carlton over as we speak.

A 31 year old injury prone player, and an average midfielder with no future upside for a Coleman Medalist who is their most important player, I'm quite happy with that.

If he couldn't come to Collingwood, I wanted someone else to screw Carlton, seems like Brisbane are warming up to do so.

Carlton get a 30+ year old with a history of soft tissue injuries + a good player, but one who fails to address any of the weaknesses that the club has.

This is a poor deal for Carlton.

They'd be sitting back hoping we try to trump it out of panic imo.

Very tactical trade week, this has been, and will continue to be.

Win/Win for both teams Rishcitelli is a decent to good player and as for Bradshaw he has had some injuries yes but he still gets on the park a fair bit (played 18 games this year)
Couldnt give a Rats about his age either Bradshaw is a bloody gun player who has 3 years left IMO, But once again did we enquire? Prob would have cost us a second round pick at best plus a fringe player but obviously all our players are about to burst on to the scene and suddenly become twice the players they are now!!!!!!!!!!

Means Sydney don't necessarily have such a ned for pick 14 now... Mitigates our ace for Jolly.

No it doesn't, all it does is take away the 'we've got Sydney over a barrell, let's **** them' mentality that was going on in here.

The Jolly trade stays the same as it always has, what player to send north with our pick.

I just want to hear the Burgoyne deal to the Hawks go through involving pick 9.

Once that happens the door is open for Jolly at the minimum.

I am still concerned that Hawthorn will turn their attention to Jolly and we may miss out.

I'll be shattered if we don't get one of Jolly or Fev. :(

And the answer from Collingwood will still be the same, NO ONE.

Take pick 14, or we'll go hunting somewhere else (Mumford, Charman) for a lot cheaper, that's the way the pies will run, and its the right way to do so.

Jolly asked for a trade back to Melbourne (specifically to Collingwood now), and our pick #14 is roughly equal to his value, give or take a little - That has always been the basis for the deal, not being a "gateway to Fev" for Sydney.

If you'd thrown up this trade a month ago the Carlton fans would have chased you with pitchforks out of BigFooty.

They have been absolutely bent over, bit of vaso smeared around the target, Brisbane has had a run up from about 50 out and BANG, they've had slotted fair up their rectrum.

Bradshaw will probably die from old age before he makes it to Carlton, he might not even get on the plane with his walking frame.
Rischitelli is about as average as you can get, he'll get a game because Carlton house the likes of Dennis Armfield and Jordan Russell, but that still isn't say much.

Easily the best news I've heard all trade week, we could walk away with nothing and this will still be the best trade week I've ever seen. I'm not looking forward to playing Brisbane so much (although they themselves have ****ed enough this trade week) but farrrrrk I'm looking forward to laughing at Carlton.

My point is that if it was us in Carlton's situation no team will be dealing with us until 150 on Friday and try to screw us. It is amazing how when it comes to Carlton there is always one club that finds itself on "easy street"
Maybe it is time that we stop eating our own and start building a us vs them mentality from the top to the grass roots.

Very Very Childish opinion of Bradshaw.
Bradshaw>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Any Pies Forward.
So what hes 31? he averaged around 4 goals a game this year and has the ability to play till hes 33 or 34 and to disregard how good he is because he is a click over 30 is just foolish.
Rischitelli is no dud either, by no means a great player but is still young enough to improve and IMO Carlton have actually done well out of this deal for a player whos trade value is diminished because he was never going to be there next year IMO i reckon they are the ones laughing actually not Brisbane.

Couldn't agree more they have been royally screwed.:)

How are you meant to scr#w the Scum when there are plenty of other idiots (read Brisbane and Sidney) ready to bend over for them????
:thumbsd:

I know what you mean about screwing the Scum, but the only way we could lose from the Fev situation is if he stayed at Carlton and made up with the players and club.

The deal is not done yet though.

The swans had him wrapped up this time last night according to SEN.

The trade is a loss for Carlton.

But Bradshaw is better than anything you have, has to stay fit though and Rischitelli is pretty unique IMO. He is not a dud.

Fevola was gone, this will have to do, could have been worse, could have taken say pick 30? :)

You want to nail bloody Jolly now, as he is a real need for your side, but here are the dicks, lets not give sydney what they want, nah we is too smart for sydney...

Axl the great and Jimmy, I like your smarts.

Invig, you are an absolute idiot.

i have a question.. has anyone confirmed that fevola wants to play for brisbane? ot is it speculation resulting from talks held between brisbane, carlton and tomorrow bradshaw and rischetelli? im sure i haven't seen or heard a confirmed statement from either fev or his matter on the issue.. anyone able to provide info stating otherwise?? and tbh id rather fev at sydney so at least that way the get no forward option.. as for bradshaw he is the perfect replacement for fev and will kick 70+ goals in that forward line with no jb around...

edit.. sorry pie eyed.. forgot the nt..

There is still alot to happen for the trade to go through. Fev has to agree to go up, who pays the contract, and if Bradshaw and Rischitelli actually want to move to Melbourne...

As for the trade, I can't see how Carlton would agree. Bradshaw is 31, with his history you would say he has 2 years left in the game max. However he is a very good player, but on the best defender you would say he would kick around 50 goals in a year. Rischitelli is a 'good average footballer', saying that I would have him at Collingwood any day. But how is he going to benefit carlton, he is an inside mid. Remind me, didn't they just get McLean??? How he is going to fit in their midfield, I have no clue.

He is not, although players of the ilk of Fat Stevens, Scotland, Russell and Hollahan are still getting games at Carlton so you would say they have room for improvment.

All rumours so far. The media has sent us on so many different leads this week, this is just the latest.
The deal sounds average for Carlton. Im a big fan of Bradshaw and hope his body can hold up if he is involved. Im not too sure this deal will go through. Bradshaws been in Brisbane for 10 odd years so another year up there wont make him anymore homesick, if they are trying to lure him down to Victoria for that reason.

Look hard to replace Fev but Bradshaw has kicked 133 goals in his last 40 games so this is as good a replacement as we can get. Bradshaw is 30 Fev is 28 so it is not a complete disaster.

Pies only offered pick 30 so man this is much better than that.

After what I heard tonight I couldn't care less about getting Fev or not. most players in the comp don't want him at their club.

I was told that Fev was told a number of times to stop talking to Gibbs' girlfriend after his wife had left. Fev was later talking to both Gibbs & the little lady and up came lunch, dinner & every drink he had that night.

Gibbs was the biggest player in Fev being put up for trade.
