STEVEN McKEE:

His form for Williamstown has been incredible. If Josh Fraser doen't turn up this week then it is time for him to come in. He should have been bought in for the Port Adelaide match but for some stupid reason he wasn't.

3 goals v Geelong, In the best this week.

If he is not being selected he has to go, Richards and Fraser aren't going anywhere. Walker is always getting a spot before him. He is old, slow and useless (like BK).

I like McKee and we should always be grateful for the 2002 QF where he nullified Primus in his career high water mark game. Unfortunately the fact that nullification is your high water mark is enough to tell you there is zero point in playing him ever again. Unless he has grown 12 inches, has suddenly found a leap or has overcome the bizarre river dance arm disease he has been afflicted with he isn't a ruckman capable of AFL rucking to win.

Unfortunately I think MM will reward his tenacity and play him where he will again prove he can get a kick lose across half back like any footballer ought to be able to do and he can kick a bit but he isn't an AFL ruckman's bum hole.

Must be on the trade or delist list at the end of the year with Kinnear and Williams. A few others on it too but these 3 serve no purpose under any scenario imaginable and are extremely unlikely to be wanted elsewhere. If we get anything for any of them it’s a bonus we should take.

CHANCES FOR TRADE / DELISTING AT THE END OF THE YEAR:

Leon Davis
Alan Didak
Ben Kinnear
Steven McKee
Luke Mullins
Bo Nixon
Luke Shackleton
Andrew Williams

Didak will be kept. I hope O'Bree won't be and Weowodin should be offered. Something like O'Bree, Woewodina nd any of Kinnear, Williams or McKee if wanted plus the round 2 pick for a low round 1 would be sensational. Happy to thor Nixon in as well. Shack and Mullins give another year to but I have grave doubts about the Shack.

My List would be:

Kinnear
McKee
Williams
Davis

Maybe a few Suprises

But i feel that getting rid of Nixon could be a show, coz he ahs played a few games, but he could improve i would love to see him improve but i am not confident.

Shackleton should be given one more year after this to make it otherwise get rid of him, i like him but he hasn't done much, he was pick 19 (i think) and he hasn'
t shown much.

As for Mullins, he showed something in that Freo game getting 16 touches from half the game, if he can keep a spot and get more time on the ground, could be a player.

MarkT and co.

What is up your arse, Woewodin is not a bad playerat all, he has done nothing wrong and certainly will not be even considered for trade. He is a consistant performer wether win or loss, rain, hail or shine he is good. Get over his ONE bad game for the year and start watching some football.

Woey is a star, we look bad this year but we'd look a hell of a lot worse without woey.

McKee is being ignored all year and im at the end of my rope about it. MM is giving everyone thats fit a run but he wont give Stevo a gig, its a shame because he is actually working hard for a change and has more than earnt a spot.

Chances for delistings:
McKee (possibly trade)
Kinnear
Williams (possibly trade)
And we need to make tough decisions regarding:
Luke Shackleton and Nixon

Trade Bait list (players we should offer):
Davis
Didak
O'Bree
Woewodin - possibly
Lonie
Lockyer - if desperate
Walker

Also in the future 2 or 3 years we need to make tough decisions regarding our young tall forwards I mean look at this:
Rocca (old), Tarrant (mid-career), C.Cloke, Davidson, T. Cloke (if we get him), Morrison we will either trade one or two or develop some as a backman.

Kinnear was put on a 2 year contract at the end of last year, still has another year to go.

Whats with that?

Must be good around the club and we must be paying him peanuts. The same could be said about McKee, if we are not paying them much and they can help the kids come through that might be the reason they have been kept

You can add Walker and McGough

I'd keep Davis and Didak

Agree with the rest, possibly O'Bree for a high draft pick.

Didak and Mullins will stay. Agree with Mark, O'Bree should go

Woey has been good this year and should be kept, but he's useful trade bait. Depends on how much salary he demands, but I'df like to keep him.

He is a medium paced midfielder and we have a truck load of them. he might be one with currency. I'd rather have Lonie and Tarrant on the wings and he can't be in the middle ahead of Buckley, Burns or Licuria. He has maybe 3 or 4 years left in him. Take the value while you can.

WHat are you smoking if you think O'bree's worth a high pick?

He has **** all value. who'd want him.

Agreed.

There is no way in the world O'Bree would attract a high draft pick. Back in 2001, we would have got something but not now.

after some hard work he looks slow, butthat chase on Shaun Burgoyne when he kicked that contender this year was a fair effort from Woewy. His speed is underrated.

Walker might have some value to a Perth based club in exchange for a second tier player wanting to come back to Melb.

Hopefully the reverse of the Williams/Atkins trade, so we get someone decent and they get the dud.

Similarly Kinear comes from Adelaide, we should be able to trade him to Port for one of their second tier players like Primus or Tredrea :D

Mcgough shouldnt be considered tradeable, along with Johnno I think he has to form the basis of our new generation midfield (when we have our preferred midfield in, it is an aging one)

Woewodin should also not be considered as what he has above all our other 2nd tier mifielders is class. He uses the ball as good as most, and when he is on, he is as in and under as anyone. His chase on Mcleod in the crows forward line on friday saved a goal, as well as numerous other tackles and other one percenters he executed. All that is wrong with Woey at times is his mindset. Most of our tradeables, we will get nothing for anyway, or very little (Kinnear, Williams, O'Bree, Walker) Add stunner to that list because with Richards doing so well, and Cloke another (preferred, improving) option, he wont be back.

Also on McGough, if he played the whole game, he would have mid 30's possessions and 10 clearances....magnets like that are worth their weight in gold, and apart from the few extremely rushed kicks which cleared the congestion, he only had one direct turn over, where he kicked it to 3 Adelaide players in a group after clearly not looking. And he's only 19, he'll be magnificent in the future and to see him traded would be an absolute tragedy.
