If you could have one player back, who would it be?

If the Lions could get back one player they let go, whether in a trade or a delistment, who played for another AFL club afterwards, who would it be?

Des Headland for mine. His 2002 was unbelievable and it's sad to see he hasn't been able to replicate it really at Freo. I'd love to see him still in a Lions jersey and he'd be that goal kicking mid we've missed for the last few years. ( although there is some obvious light appearing at the end of this tunnel now)

Although our defence isn't necessarily a weakness at the moment, he is by far the best player we let go by Trade/Delistment in the last few years.

Going back a few years I think Primus would've been an even better ruckman under Matthews.

Pick 3 (Brennan) and pick 19 (Selwood).

As much as a i like Brennan and have valued Selwood's courage, i would rather of kept Dessie, at his best he was a devastating running goal kicking midfielder. What a WASTE! I would trade a second round draft pick and a Selwood for him

Yeah, but we really didn't have much choice.

He requested a trade 1 week after winning a premiership... I dare say he was pretty set on going home.

Yep i know, great year and everyone thought he would tear it up in Perth, i wouldn't hesitate taking him back with that deal. Maybe i could start the bring Dessie back campaign, i mean i had so much success getting TJ to Brisbane

Good cool Kimp, I think with Bolton and Gram though it was a case of needing opportunity rather then leaving because they wanted to.

But I think some of the trades over the years have leaded to our success.

Even the trade of Buckley gave us C.Scott which was an important part to our club.
