Our injury list and unavailable player list is growing. We have:

Molan - SEASON
Thompson - SEASON
Rigoni - SEASON
Nicholson - SEASON
J McDonald - TEST
Williams - 3 or 4 weeks
Powell - 1 match suspension
Ellis - 2 matches suspension

Febey has just returned from injury and isn't ready for the seniors yet. It doesn't leave a lot to choose from really. Blokes can play bad games but there isn't anything to replace them with.

No wonder we added Mark Jamar as some insurance. I guess to have 4 players out for the season is unusual.

I like the fact we have put Jamar onto our senior list, as I have watched Sandy once or twice () and he has done quite well. He is a big boy who should have a good future......but Jolly getting injured?? You gotta be joking! :D ;)

Also - I am looking forward to seeing how Luke Molan comes along next season. I really think he has a bright future also. He is a very strong boy who can mark a football and that's what we need at CHF. Heck, if we can't get one by next season, I wouldn't mind them blooding him in the possie, maybe swapping with Jolly/Wheatley etc as he probably can't do it all on his own. Having Neita down there as skipper will help him immensley too.

no mention of anthony mcdonald on the injury list? i knew he was injured and then just out of form, he played well last sunday against frankston but when i spoke to him after the game he had quite a bit of trouble walking..but i heard nothing of it!

A. Macca has been named in the Dees team,I guess that answers your question.

Anyone think that his time may be up at the end of the season, may be delisted or something?

Certainly has to be a question mark around him. Unlucky with injury but now that he is fit, he has to proove himself.

He has been fit for a while, he just does nothing in the ressies at all. I truly believe he is now past it, and it's worth giving Armstrong, Godfrey etc the time they need to develop.

Armstrong:eek:
I am shocked.
As for Godfrey, a tagger, nothing more.

My Prediction: A Macca will be delisted at the end of the year, along with Funcke, Clark, Williams, Febey and Rigoni.

Rigoni is pretty much already gone, and I agree with all of those too.....would Breese possibly go at all?

Frees up some room with A Mac, Rigoni and Febey most likely being delisted or retiring, and it has been reported that we are approaching Carey VERY soon, just to chat and stuff. Imagine this....

CHF: Carey
FF: Neitz

That's premiership material right there.

Why is everyone so shocked about Armstrong keeping his spot. The guy has absolute talent to burn, and is a better player than anyone else we could possible bring in.

He is our future, we may as well give him experience!

its not that we're shocked about him keeping his spot - its that you're admitting to it. you hate the guy - known fact. but at the same time, you're saying he's all good and has a great future.
although its true and all, it sounded strange coming from you. :)

unfortunately it looks like we have to add:

Troy Broadbridge - SEASON

Now that's 5 out for the year. Pretty bad luck with injuries at the moment.

Because he hadn't looked like it since round 5!

I was seriously disapointed he kept his spot to be brutally honest, he has a great future but his PRESENT had been disapointing. He does need senior exposure I agree but not while our season is still alive & there are others (Ross Funcke in particular) with more experience & toughness. The kid has talent but rarely has any impact even when he is on the ground.

Today however he had a good last quarter, his disposal was pretty good but it laked penetration.

So in hindsight Armie proved me wrong & good luck to the lad, I like him.

Good to see Armstrong given some decent ground time for once too! Don't like his ATTITUDE, love his ability and talents. There is a difference right there.

Miller obviously got no ground time too. Daniher annoys me - picks them, then they sit on the bench!

that annoys the sh*t our of me aswell, they get picked but hardley get time to play or do anything for the team.

Miller got plenty of ground time!

He looked a little out of his depth I reckon.

I'd like to see him get a go up forward, possibly even at Centre Half Forward.

I agree. At least there he doesn't need to be too accountable and he doesn't have as much pressure on him. It's a bit harsh to just thrust him out there in the backline in the heat of battle.

On a flank for Mr. Miller I reckon.
